Red flag!! Terrible! Bullies - Just Better care Sunshine Coast Red Flag. Do not pay on time, mismanaged, disorganised and use intimidation. The owner is an absolute bully, rude and disrespectful. Takes no responsibly to lack of staffing, and non payment. Horrible!!

Our client is currently looking into changing because they are so bad to deal with.... They had to wait over a month for an activity statement, absolutely disgusting.
A nightmare for the staff – Working in this company is just a disaster. pressure. They make it clear that this is laziness when it simply cannot be done. The staff are oppressed and depreciated. It's not social and not professional at all (it's probably why it's under paid and all staff leave). It's a shame, if the management was more social and human it could change the team/work atmosphere...but unfortunately it's not the case.

Left feeling furious and heart broken – Honestly it's been hard to come to this but I want to warn people that even if a company looks good to begin with everything can change. it myself and then had issues getting it approved - it took the entire time my father was with JBC to get the rails put in . I may as well have been self managing his fund . He never saw the physio again before his fall and had had the rails installed months earlier . They simply didn't do their duty of care as providers . It scares me how many people do not have carers to oversee their packages and what they must be lacking in services . The package manager seemed to get busier and less attentive as time went by. I believe they are simply understaffed and potentially bunt out themselves or have too many packages to manage and can not be satisfactorily attentive to every client . This was my general experience with MAC, all providers are running on empty . Don't know how we let standards fall so far, they are expensive private companies yet they act like a struggling govnt run organisation - pointless, felt safer with the Commonwealth health services !

everyone's efforts just ignored. This woman has no idea what she just walked into and destroyed to suit her own needs. I AM taking this further... All the way. The participants did nothing to deserve this. Disgusting and we are not teenage baby sitters with an allowance.
Walk in, inexperienced and have ruined the participants (children) support within 2 weeks.
I don't need this rubbish, I have an immediate family member just diagnosed with cancer. This issue was already felt with and these idiots decide support workers can drive 416hrs without non labour travel at all, at my cost, when I am skiable, entitled and work for myself. Honestly, they've no idea.

The participants parent is stating they didn't 'UNDERSTAND it the way three coordinator put it to him and now, in his own words "I don't know how to fix it". Then HIS mother started the same thing when she called me. That's the participants grand mother.
They've caused a catastrophe. The LMP for ministry of health has already been involved to ensure this would not happen and yet, here we are.
RUN is my advice.
Would you, drive 4hrs all up, plus 2hrs of support to be left with $90?

Terrible over priced and under service. Not recommended – In my opinion, this company must be the worst or I cannot imagine worse. They focus on money and not care. I installed cameras inside to monitor my mother because she falls because of Parkinson's causing many recent visits to the hospital. JBC only come 3 times a week and will not come for 1 hour 7 days a week instead insisting on 2hours 3 days… Read more
per week. They have complained about the cameras being there and threatened my 90 year old mother with withdrawal of services. Then proceeded to claim that I had done structural work that required and occupational therapist to visit to view the work for which they charge large fees. There is no structural work, they simply plug into a normal power socket. They failed to notice flat batteries in the smoke alarms or the fact her chairs were so low she could not get out of them. The complaints are too numerous to list. My mother is afraid of them and I am concerned about it. They push contract clauses and terms of service clauses at her that confuse her and cause her distress. The intimidation clearly must be deliberate. They don't give a hoot about the wellbeing of their customers.

Extremely rude and unprofessional – I called the office to follow up on an invoice I sent awhile ago for services provided to a client that was plan managed by Just Better Care. I spoke to 3 different people, 2 out of 3 were rude. The frustration and annoyance of the first person was palpable over the phone. that the client lives at home. The second rude person was beyond rude. She insisted that Just Better Care does not provide plan management but after pointing out to her that their website states it does, she said I clearly got the wrong office, and only then, decided to explain that different offices provide different services. I asked her for the phone number of the correct office and she that said she didn't know which office the correct one was as they have many. She then said the organisation I work for has a horrible system for not asking the client more questions, such as which office is responsible for their plan management (as if clients are going to know exactly which office manages their plan). She asked me if I knew the email address I sent the invoice to, to which I said yes. She proceeded to say, "A NORMAL person would send another email to the same address to follow up on the invoice or ask them for their contact number". She mentioned "a normal person" (would do this or that) a few more times after.
This company claims that they are in the business of service provision in the aged care and disability sector. I am not an aged care resident and neither do I have a disability. I am merely an allied health service provider. The way I was treated on the phone was shocking, to say the least. I dare not think how people in a disadvantged position who are not able to stand up for themselves, such as aged care residents and NDIS participants, are treated by this company. Imagine having implied to you that you are not a normal person, especially when living with a disability. Stay away from being abused by this company! Just Better Leave!

JBC Northern Beaches branch NSW – Terrible. The carers lie about what happens to make family members look bad, which is deplorable. They don’t care; don’t do what is asked of them with their client. They dispose of family property when not needed too. Terrible. I don’t recommend them at all.

Over priced and understaffed – Gippsland Version of this company. Increased its fees by 100% (doubled) in a year. Provides no service - we do all the arrangements with staff- told us in February that we need to increase the service hours to justify the package level (4) so we did, and now 2 weeks before Xmas they tell us there is no money left to provide services over the public holidays.

times difficult to navigate through. With Mariannes assistance, this process was a breeze. The assessment on my Dad left no stone unturned and all his needs were met. My Dad has had very positive experiences in home cleaning and care of monitoring His blood sugar levels. My Dad was so impressed, he stated the care given to him and his home was, “exceptional.” I wish to thank Marianne and her team for the professional care given. would not use this provider – Very over priced compared to other quality providers, very poor communication skills and not sensitive to family requests. Some workers were good but few had no interest, claimed overtime and left well before the finish of the shifts.

Dishonest, unscrupulous, unprofessional – The Riverina Branch is misusing Government funds provided through MyAGED CARE for items not approved under packages. They are using untrained, uninsured staff. People are being paid to clean their mothers houses and take their mothers shopping or to appointments. Even mileage allowances for driving family. Workers claim for hours not worked.
