A party speaker that doubles as a mini PA system – This battery powered speaker can play music from a USB drive or a micro SD card, via Bluetooth or through an auxiliary cable from your phone. It includes flashing LED lights (which you can turn off) and a microphone. Sound quality is reasonable for a single 20 cm 15 watt speaker. Excellent bass response makes it a useful practice amp for my bass guitar. For large parties and sparkling high notes, you would need a more powerful 2-way speaker system. Unlike many party speakers it has a microphone input, with volume and echo dials, and also a separate guitar input. That allows you to sing and play along to a backing track.

Basic Party Speaker - Value for money - Falls into Under $100 outdoor bluetooth speakers band – Covers all basics of a Party Speaker - This falls into a budget speaker segment under A$100 (cant be compared with expensive systems like JBL Partybox 100/300/1000). I paid $89 in BigW for this unit. I had this speaker for about two days now. First impression - Speaker looks really sturdy and plastic gives that expensive looks. Cames with inbuilt rechargable battery (3.5kgs approx - easy to carry around without any power cables), a mic and a USB-mini charging cable. Two improvements JVC can do to make this a wonderful system (a) adding a remote (b) adding a bit more powerful battery - but good thing is - you can plug in an inexpensive powerbank to use it outdoors for entire night. I have not tried the mic yet.
Good Boss. Bluetooth range is quite good. I tried moving the speaker around the house upto 10 meters away from my iPhone. Signal does not distort. Tuning FM Radio is easy. Sound quality is good. The sound covers roughly a hall of size10mx10m.
