Somewhat disappointed – I guess you get what you pay for, the volume is weak and crappy and the AUX mode cuts in and out, very annoying, the Subwoofer is the best part, no complaints there. it has good sound quality but the volume is just weak due to needing a more powerful pre amp but this system has it's issues which is a shame, it is better than using the factory sound the television comes with, so it's a grin and bare it situation. It's good for $119 but i wish i had put more money together for a better louder unit.

After that, in less than 10 minutes, the device was set up, and premium sound was mine.

They key for any User is to find the best EQ setting for them, a few of the settings are great for movies with booming bass sound but there are settings available that make speech clearer.

took it back quite frustrated, Big W was more than helpful after I explained the issue. Bearing in mind I had already been in for a refund of the model down for just crapping out on me. I upgraded to another dud.

The second one worked for 5 minutes and the bar stopped working this time, took it back again, once again felt suspicious as I had already brought back two JVC soundbars before. They refunded me and I purchased a Samsung sound-bar

3 trips to Big-W this is within 4 days at Christmas time, hours of time and about 100kms of driving for JVC dudbars

I am disappointed with JVC I used to consider them a good balance of quality and affordability but that has put me off any JVC product.

Pros: great sound, good if your tv has crappy sound

wireless subwoofer which takes away an extra cord

Bluetooth feature is very good

Cons: Unreliable (Every unit I owned broke within a day or two at best)

Sound is not going to blow you away if you have a decent tv

The sound is better via Bluetooth for some reason and most people buying this dont have TVs with

bluetooth

Higher volumes seem to make it have a static sound to it.

For an extra 40-50 dollars, you could get a bar and sub that will sound tenfold better

The failure rate makes buying and keeping this unit a roll of the dice

All in all this product should not be sold, as to how it got past quality control is beyond belief

Taking back for refund – Hooked it up to my tv turned it up as loud as i can and can hardly hear it. Not at all what i expected. Rang jvc they agreed its not flash. Wouldnt bother for tv. Bluetooth sounds louder but would not get excited about the volume. My tv performs better without it. It is cheap and you get what you pay for but i did expect it to be able to hear a difference.  Show details

Very ordinary – This is a compact unit which looks good. Good bass overall the sound is average. Cannot get it to play very loud so wouldn't be good for a large room. Overall disappointing but it is in the low price range.
