Great product sad to see that’s it’s discontinued lucky I got one when I did
Positive Experience – Great product, would recommend to anyone. My Daughter absolutely loves her trampoline. Show details
Junk product – The quality of the trampoline is very poor. The tension rods constantly come out of the T-connectors and when we received it not all the T-connectors were in the box. We purchased a cheaper trampoline 3 years ago and in hindsight we should have just bought another one of those. We feel totally cheated and the boys openly refer to it as a piece of junk. Terrible service and trampoline – We purchased the 6ft rectangle trampoline for our daughter for christmas. We attempted to put it together on 23rd December (which was hard in itself, the instructions are useless) and then found that we had a pole for the siding missing. No way we would receive in time for christmas. Upon receiving said pole, we attempted to put the sides on… Read more
only to find that the distance in the two screw holes on the poles, was not the same as the distance in holes on the legs. I called to advise I wanted to send the trampoline back only to be advised that as its already assembled (half assembled at this point as still unable to use), they cannot accept it back. This was not a cheap trampoline and would have expected better service and also better quality.
3yo loves it – Very safe/contained, the netting is great and the springs are on the outside so no risk of getting stuck. It's big enough to fit two young (2-5yo) children. Bit slow to put together but no worse than any other trampoline. I added the cover which is great on a sunny day and to keep it clean. Good price for the quality. Show details
No instructions – no instructions, guess how to put it together, all they send with it is a link to hi pages to pay someone to put it together. Apparently it's so impossible they don't bother telling u how, 4 people, 4 hrs still can't figure this crap out, no Christmas for kids, sending this POS back Show details
This is perfect. My daughter absolutely loves it – I bought this trampoline for my daughter, who is almost 2. She absolutely loves it. It's the perfect size for her and the walls make it super safe and secure. Show details
Great for young kids! Ideal for small space – Kids love their new trampoline - smallest size in the range but it suited us best for little ones and our limited space. Setup was straightforward and the top cover is a great extra! Show details
Parts – I ordered parts that had been weathered eg: safety padding and safety mate over the springs. Was easy to order and arrive within a week easy to fit and my grandson love it. To my surprise I received a call to find out if they had arrived in good condition Show details
Great service, easy transaction, super fast shipping! – Looking for a replacement trampoline and came across this company online which I had never really heard of. I purchased the 6ft trampoline for our family, affordable priced and thought it would be on the lower scale. Boy was I wrong! Quality of materials are great! The choice of mats, accessories etc fantastic and even the thought to put rubber… Read more
stoppers on the bottom of the trampoline so when we have it on the paving/ concrete it stops any damage then rust! The ordering, confirmation and sending of the package was 2 days (ordered at 1400) customer service staff were super helpful, super friendly and overall one of the better company experiences which is getting rarer these days! I would 100% recommend the trampolines and the company to anyone nothing was a hassle for them and promptly get back to you with a solution!!
Replacement parts – I needed to replace the protective matt and net on my daughters trampoline and because of my dog (some smaller parts). Ordering was easy, quality is amazing and the price is very reasonable. I actually put off ordering replacement parts because I was worried about the price. Delivery was super quick too which was as appreciated by my daughter who had missed using her trampoline!! Show details
Impossible to put together – This product is impossible for the average family to assemble. Poor fitting parts and non user-friendly manual make this a poor consumer experience from the outset. I’ve now gone back to Bunnings 3 times to buy heavy tools to assist the construction which is quite unacceptable. The base alone took over 4 hours and it only has about 10 parts! Not recommended Show details
No Trampoline Should Be This Difficult To Assemble – So without a doubt, this trampoline has been the most difficult item that I have had to assemble in my lifetime and I've assembled enough items to say I am not too shabby at it. So let's go through this and I will be attempt to keep it as objective as possible: 1. I should start off by saying that Kahuna do clearly state that you need two able… Read more
bodied adults to build this trampoline. They're 100% accurate on this and probably the reason I struggled so much as I mostly did it on my own. There were certain sections where you absolutely needed two adults. On my own and with the help from my wife on two sections, this took me 8hrs solid so perhaps budget half the time if there are two of you.
2. The design. Sorry guys, but the engineers who designed this need a backhand. Why oh why has this been designed to be such a pain to assemble. Even with two adults, pieces don't just "snap" or "connect" in easily together. Every piece seemed to be a constant struggle to get connected. Other brands like "Plum" are an absolute breeze to assemble.
3. The base FYI is incredibly strong and secure and sure, I get it. This was engineered with safety in mind but this can also be achieved by not making it so ridiculously difficult to connect pieces together. The base itself took me about 5hrs just to do that. By comparison, our "Plum" one took me around 3hrs to be completely finished. Their design, in my opinion is a far more sensible and practical design whilst still maintaining safety and rigidity.
4. Two things which totally threw me and I will caveat this by saying it could just be my lack of knowledge but here goes: a. When connecting the frame pieces to make the circle, you need to connect them with the supplied T-Pieces. The one side would simply not connect into the T-Piece unless you physically pried the T-Piece apart. That was not obvious to me and I spent a good 30mins trying to work it out whilst my 8yr old daughter berated me for been a total failure and telling me that my wife would have built it by now. She was probably right in fairness. b. The lateral support bars between the legs. They will appear as if they are too short to connect the legs together and they are until you turn the frame up on its side and use your Superman strength to bend it in whilst Adult number 2 shoves the bolts through the holes. Again, why make this so damn difficult to do??
5. The instructions. Sorry Kahuna but your instructions are ridiculously unclear and every step was a real challenge to work out which piece went where? The graphics depicting the pieces in some of the steps could not have been more off so please fix that.
6. An impact driver. You need an impact driver for this assembly unless you have wrist strength the equivalent of hulk hogan. The frame assembly itself and especially the steps I described in Point 4 above need an impact driver to tighten and secure those bolts quickly and "pull" the frame together.
7. Once the frame was assembled, the rest went fairly well and smoothly though I was so knackered by this point every step felt like an eternity. Something to do with fatigue I guess.
8. Once built, the kids loved it and so was worth the pain and effort. The trampoline is a sturdy good looking trampoline but I have given three stars because I can't help feeling the engineering could be better in terms of assembly.
9. Would I buy or recommend this product to someone. In terms of been a solid trampoline, yes but in terms of time needed to assemble and what a challenge it was, No and it is for this reason I have give this a 3 star rating.
So in summary: Pros: * Solidly built trampoline * Very safe with internal netting. * Looks great * Kids love it
Cons: * Difficult to assemble * Engineering could be better in terms of ease of assembly (this is subjective of course) * Instructions could be clearer and make reference to sections definitely requiring two adults or sections where using an impact driver is recommended. I guess on this topic alone, they may not recommend it as if you set your impact driver too high a torque you risk stripping bolts but if you know how to use your impact driver, then it is an absolute lifesaver.
Perfect kids trampoline for small spaces – Mr 2 absolutely LOVES his Kahuna 6ft trampoline! We don't have a big outdoor space so it is the perfect size, great quality and very safe for him and his friends to use! Show details
