The Kambrook brand guarantees durability and quality but none of my appliances have lasted very long, well under the expected lifespan. Made cheap. Sunbeam outlives Kambrook. I purchased 2 "industrial" looking fans that both broke. One outside warranty period and one within weeks. My kettle and toaster broke after two years, which is a very short lifespan for this kind of appliance used by one person. AVOID! Show details

Both new fans are faulty. AVOID! – Purchased a Kambrook tower fan online. It was faulty and I had to return to a store to exchange it. This was difficult and inconvenient for me. I was given a new fan. The second one is faulty. I have been told that I need to go back to the store again. I can't. Both Kambrook and the Good Guys are not helpful. I have lost my postage costs and I have a lemon. Very unhappy ☹️

Kambrook Profile 10 cup rice cooker – Regretfully purchased this product. Not fit for purpose. Used exactly in accordance with Instruction Manual. Spews starch and water all over the bench. Kambrook “Customer Service” won’t accept accountability for product not being of merchantable quality. Crap product, crap customer service, will not ever purchase any product from them in future. Please be more discerning than I was when buying a product from Kambrook / Breville. Show details

they ignore until you give up – What can I say. There is no way to interact with a human, the email is the only gateway and they ignore until you give up. I've tried the phone, I just get automated message and then it rings then it hangs up. At least the email produced a case number but what value is a case number when there is no case manager to follow up on them? When you… Read more

first email you will get a reply along the line of 'this is an automated noreply email, thanks for contacting us, your case number is blah, keep it with you, we will get back to you in 2 business days'... well i got an email like that a few weeks ago and nothing since. There is no way for you to chase up your case numbers. Very shady operations.

In my case I purchased a deep pan fry pan (KEF135BLK2JAN1) from BigW and after the third wash the underside has become this toxic heavy metal dust. Neither party is responding, no doubt no one wants to put to words they're selling possible hazardous product, who knows. The lockdowns were a couple of years ago now, they have staff, COVID is not an excuse for radio silence. I just feel like on the surface they make it seem they're safe to buy, they offer warranties after all, but when it comes time to interact with them, they ignore you until you give up.

Sad thing is I replaced a kambrook item that lasted a decade with this new one, old was great, new one lasted less than a week. We all say things aren't built like they use to but come on, it's not like this was a paper cup, it's an electrical product and less than a week before something critical happened is a joke.

Disappointed in Kambrook and BigW brands and some return servers attitudes – I bought Scandi Kambrook Kettle from BigW. After a few months the lid opening stopped working. I took it back to BigW and it also had a little rust in the lid fitting. The women chose to blame my usage saying I used it too much and I should buy a stove camp kettle as it is cheaper to run. I used the kettle around 4 to 6 times a day. I cleaned the… Read more

kettle each month with vinegar in water. I told the women it is not my fault if things happen to them as I was careful with it. I changed it for a different brand and was talked into a camp kettle. I am disgusted with how I was treated. I am 71yrs and disappointed and believe BigW dont keep good kettles. Not my problem.

Dont waste your money – Have had other microwaves last over 10 years, buy a Kambrook one and 3 years later, it just rusts out. When you highlight the issue, they use 'you obviously didnt clean it properly' excuse. Highly doubt it if other models have lasted longer with the same cleaning method after every use. Dont waste your money on Kambrook.

Horrible customer service – I have been waiting for Kambrook/Breville to replace my faulty double cooktop for six months. They keep saying that they do not have any in stock, but the same product is being sold in their retail outlets. I am calling on consumers to boycott this company are they are totally fraudsters. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH KAMBROOK.

My first and last Kambrook experience – I wish Kambrook had a customer comments page on its website because this is where belongs. The Kambrook KHV hand held Vacuum is a load of rubbish. Don't buy it. it is badly designed, it should 'suck' and in one way it does, but not as a vacuum. I have used it three times and have thrown it away.

Kambrook Rice Master 5 Cup Rice Cooker & Steamer-KRC405BSS – Worst electric rice cooker I have ever had. bought this model because it looked good but immediately realised that it was a bad choice. Cooking rice was never clumsier. The lid gets messy with the starch and the area around the cooker will be spilled with the rice starch and the cap will be filled with the starch and cleaning the cooker takes… Read more

more time than cooking. There is no proper vent for the steam and the lid is attached to the main unit and this makes cleaning hard. Would never buy this cooker again.

Slow in More than One Way – I have been trying to fix the handle on my toaster oven and it is taking me a long time because the company takes a long time for the company to respond to emails. In the last response I received I was asked for a receipt number. I did supply the company with a model number but for some reason this was not good enough. After my current experience… Read more

I will be avoiding all Kambrook products in the future.

Since I wrote this review the company has contacted me as I suspected the product is unable to be repaired. Next time I want a toaster oven I will visit KMart.

It would be funny if it wasn't sad – I was interested in purchasing a Kambrook Micathermic heater and so searched the online retailers listed on the Kambrook website. Not one of them stocked the heater so I approached Kambrook and asked for an online retailer who had stock of this item. I received a reply pointing me to the online retailers listed, none of whom stock the product… Read more

(alternatively, it was suggested, that I should go to the trouble of presenting myself to the customer service desk of a retail shop where I could request that they order the item in.) The respondent expressed his hope that this response was helpful. I replied that it certainly wasn't and reiterated my request - and that was the end of his correspondence.

Kambrook, where do I begin?

1) You should be able to provide the names of stockists for specific products

2) Not a single one of the stockists listed on your website stocks this item

3) It appears no outlet in Australia, physical or online, stocks this item, which leads me to question why

4) If your staff don't see a problem with directing customers to attend a retailer personally when they are asking for an online seller, then your staff are the problem. Any concept of customer service?

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse – I was looking for info on a Kambrook's cooking steamer. Past reviews gave it 5 stars. But locally bigger retailers didn't stock it. or any kambrook steamer. So I thought to ring customer service to ask questions about this find a currant retailer and got Breville Customer Service. Along with umpteen other product suppliers. The poor chap had no… Read more

idea and when offered a product number off Kambrooks site, suggested that listed retailers were on the web site. Unfortunately some of those listed are out of business, other's don't stock Kambrook. Well and truly out of date. The site product hand book didn't offer any wattage detail that I could see. Again I was to ring around to get the info I wanted. Too bad no one stocked them. When asked if I could talk to some one at Kambrook, was told I'm doing that now.?

I know this is telling me to move on, but I feel folk should be aware of the 2013 face of Kambrooks customer service.

Customer service farmed out. Very long phone wait time. Absolutely no product knowledge. No interest or unable to recommend a currant retailer of product in question. Oh, and zero stars, had to offer one to launch review
