Kambrook KFP95

Cheap and nasty – Same thing happened to me on third use, processing mince meat, stripped the blade hex drive, spun on the shaft and friction heat melted the top. Cannot locate a replacement blade so it may end up as landfill then go and buy another brand name. I did not consider it overloaded as the mince was chopped up already. I think they should consider a stronger drive design. I would not buy another one. Show details
Not worth wasting your money – I have had two of the kambrook KFP95 in the last 12 months one was a replacement as the shaft in the first one just stopped and this also happened to the second one. The second one I couldn't get a refund on or a replacement so I threw it in the bin. Not worth the $79 you pay keep your money and go elsewhere and to a better brand.
Great bargain buy – Bought this two weeks ago.....brilliant...does what I want it to do and makes shortcrust pastry with ease. It has replaced my old cheap machine, which also cost less than $80 12 years ago, so I'm guessing if this lasts for 5 plus years, I'm in front because I cannot justify larger cost of bigger brands. Not to heavy to lift, stores its own blades, not too noisy, love the suction feet. Hope to get lots of use from this machine.
My handy manny! – Before I purchase this product, I was very skeptical about the FPs. Now it's been 7 months after I bought the product; I must accept that it is very handy. It's good value for money. I use it mainly to cut onions, tomatoes, cabbage, spinach, etc. I also knead roti dough but can't make large batches as it gets stuck under the blade. another one that I have some problem. Very happy with Chopping, kneading Shredding is not done as I expected.
Does not go well with liquids – This unit only has three speeds and a pulse. No gradual increase in speed. The low speed is too high and the pulse is too violent. It leaks liquids up the shaft and down the centre of the bowl and all over the work space. It is not a unit that is sealed from the outside so to speak. With cake mix it is similar, A large portion of the mix is… Read more
up the shaft of the mixing blade. This is the first time I have used a unit with this problem. It is a messy unit. I will not keep this item long enough to comment on it's motor life. Did like the weight and suction cup feet that keep the unit from slipping across the workspace. The bowl leaks when blending liquids.
Very weak shaft to blade plastic connection – The twin blade attachment wore out and melted on top, where it attaches to the motor shaft within two weeks of purchase. The blades got jammed by some tough meat and instead of having a safety mechanism to detach the drive to the blades or switch off the motor, it kept spinning and cracked the plastic on the blade attachment. I didn't notice… Read more
this crack and next time I used the blades they must have not spun as fast as the shaft and melted at the top, where they connect to the shaft. In my opinion shaft should be splined and not a hexagon shape or motor reduced in power so that a jammed condition will stop rotation and not rip apart the blade holder. We got our money back easily. Cheap and neat Weak connection to shaft, fiddly to put toghether and lock
Great food processor! – It's an excellent food processor. It Does everything that i needed a food processor to do, i have used all the attachments and they work perfectly, the 850 watt power is more than enough to slice, grate, mix & process everything i have put in it, even frozen veges. It is very simple to clean also. I have had it for about 2 months & I am happy with… Read more
it so far.
I was really impressed when i had to incorporate red curry paste into fish cakes. It was like magic how quick & evenly it mixed it in. Cheap for what you get, easy to clean, good quality attachments, Looks boring.
