Kambrook Profile KSK210

Well made and efficient kettle – My only complaint is that the plastic of the handle and elsewhere seemed to deteriorate some - after a couple of years! Mind you - we do have a very sunny kitchen so it has been exposed to UV a fair bit, so not too surprising. Also, this didn't affect the practical functionality of the kettle. Show details
Declining quality – Lid mechanism broke within six months. Very noisy. At one year was blowing electric circuits regularly. Nothing else to say just filling in my obligatory fifty words. Show details
Solid kettle, nothing special, can easily overload the circuit – Bought as a second kettle to help clean/sterilise feeding equipment for the baby. Happy with the reviews here so grabbed one from Big W and it's been working well. Pros: feels solid, lid doesn't splash boiling water everywhere, pours very controllably, comfortable handle Cons: a bit noisy, a bit slow, cord is a bit short edit: we have… Read more
discovered that the power switch/lever does not automatically turn off if you lift the kettle from the base while boiling (like many other kettles do.) As a result, if you then pour all the water out and replace the kettle onto the base, it will continue to heat whilst empty, which tripped our surge protection circuit.
Great First Kettle for New Home – First Kettle I've ever brought, holds 1.7 litres max, great for 2-3 people, boils fast, there is a button located where your thumb would normally be that opens the lid, very convenient, has a relatively long cord so can move it around out of the way in the kitchen, been 7 months and no issues. Loving it! – I purchased it from The Good Guys. The unit is working quietly compare to others. The look is modern and nice. it is a bit pricey compare to other ones that you can buy from Coles or Target which they do pretty good job as well! I like the easy feature where you can stop in halfway if you want to add more water in. Show details
Love it – I brought this kettle as I just felt like an upgrade from my old $12 one. It's great. Does as it's meant to. Love the red colour. Not overly loud either which is good. it's been used multiple times daily since purchasing in December 2016. No sign of limescale yet either which is good. Show details
So far so good !!! – I was devastated when my best ever kettle (Sampford IXL brand - no longer in production - had it 7 or 8 years) died. I did lots of research to try to find a quiet kettle that wouldn't drown out sound from our tv in (separate) living room - quietness seems to be the holy grail of kettles as very hard to find - and the one given best dB score by… Read more
Choice in Feb 2016 has been discontinued. Wasn't prepared to fork out $150-$200 for something noisy. Took a punt on this one in stainless steel finish and 3 weeks in am happy as it boils well and is relatively quiet so far.
Terrible product – The red colouring chips and scratches off when you clean the kettle. The cutoff switch broke today and spewed hot water everywhere. Very dangerous and there appears to be no safety mechanism. I will never buy this product again and would not recommend it to any potential buyers. Stick with a better brand.
Great Kettle - we haved ours for 5 years ! – Great kettle. It looks clean and it just great at what it does which is boiling water. It does not take that long to boil the water using this kettle. We bought ours from GoodGuys. Will be looking for a simillar replacement now, hopefully they have one at good price. Show reply
Great kettle - quick, quiet and easy to pour – I did all the research on this website but in the end I walked into a JBHIFI Home store and saw this one for $50 and bought it. It's lovely, pours beautifully and is quite quiet and quick. Love it so far. We also have the cheaper Kambrook plastic kettle which we have in reserve for when we have large gatherings, but I just didn't want a plastic one on my benchtop every day.
Good value for money – Well after doing all my research and getting rather confused on which new kettle to purchase, it boiled down to ( ha ha) a snap decision when I bought the red profile model at Big W. Apart from numerous minor surface scratches from where it hits the tap when I refill it, it has proven to be a work horse for me for over a year now. It is noisy,… Read more
but to be honest that doesn't bother me at all. At least it is easy to tell when it is finished boiling, even if I'm in the room next door. Overall very happy with appearance and reliability. Next kettle I purchase I will go for a temperature variable model as I drink loads of green and herbal teas and would prefer the flexibility .
Kettle's on! – Just when you thought to make a nice cuppa for yourself and not play Tea Lady (out of politeness) for the rest of the house, this kettle lets everyone know the kettle’s on for a cuppa... So make mine, white no sugar while you’re there please :) You would have had a whistling kettle if you think this kettle is less noisy? I don’t particularly… Read more
like the trend for 1.7litre (6.8 cups) capacity kettles compared to the discontinued “quieter” 2 litre (8 cups) as I use a kettle for more than just boiling water to make a single cuppa.
I have the Breville Avance Cordless 2ltr on standby even though its exterior is discoloured etc after 6 years of usage. Although for now this Kambrook Profile (in red) looks more appealing on my kitchen bench.
[+] Boils water
[-] Noisy, 1.7litre capacity
Nice kettle – I only bought it a month ago on sale from Harvey Norman and it is working well. However, I guess someone might have returned before and/or perhaps it had already been repaired, since the packaging outside and inside didn't look impeccable.... So far so good! I have no complaints. Show reply

Kambrook Essentials - Bad choice! – I have bought this kettle as I tough Kambrook would be a good choice and value for money. Waste of time and money! I first bought it in 2013 and it lasted 11 months. I had an exchange and now, after 13 months it blew up, it was literally on fire. Lucky someone was in front of it. Do we have to buy one kettle a year Kambrook? Well, going back… Read more
to Russel Hobbs now as the last one was used for over 10 years. Good luck for you guys above showing so much satisfaction!

Had to return it – This was a lovely kettle. Well balanced, attractive, easy to fill, reasonably quiet. After a few months though it developed a fault whereby I couldn't rely on it to switch itself off on boiling, so had to return it.
Great kettle – We had a bad run with kettles, both cheap and expensive over the past few years. But I bought a red Kambrook KSK210 about 6 months ago and it is the best. Mostly it is super quiet, boils quickly, easy to fill and nicely balanced and is good looking. Bought at Good Guys, Mackay, Qld Mostly very quiet, boils quickly, looks good, fills and pours easily nothing
Fantastic value! – Love that I got the red profile kettle & 4 slice toaster for the same price as a kmix red kettle. Looks great. A tad louder than used to, but boils so quickly it doesnt matter. Easy to fill. Great size & position of handle for pouring. Plastic on/off lever feels bit flimsy. Inexpensive, fast boil, good looking noisy
Solid performer – I bought this kettle to replace my sunbeam model. My sunbeam had broken down and 2 sunbeam replacements both made the water taste terrible. The profile looks very similar I liked the stainless steel and the flip top for easy filling. 1 month on I am still happy with it. It is not the fastest or quietest kettle (apparently stainless steel kettles… Read more
are all louder than plastic) but it does the job. On the down side the water level indicator is a little hard to read and the on off button is a somewhat cheap looking plastic protrusion. Bottom line this does the job as well as the sunbeam model which I replaced and was about $20 cheaper. appearance, easy fill Loud boiling, cheap plastic on off button
Good value for money – I have bought any kettles over the years and this one is still going strong and still looks great after about 4 years! It was great value at approx $50 on sale at Big W. Very easy to operate, cordless and stainless steel makes it look appealing. Also very easy to clean! Great value for the quality
Excellent – Good product, fast boil time does what it is supposed to do straight from the box, no problems using this product (first month) would recommend it. Nice design, wide opening for filling up. Pours niceley without spillage, quick to boil.
Good – Terrific value. A well designed, well balanced kettle. Pours well, very easy to fill with the pop up button. Looks good. The lid pops up with the push of a button-fantastic for filling. It is well balanced and I like the way the on off lever lights up with a blue light when it is on. I have only had this kettle a week and am delighted so far-I… Read more · 1
hope it lasts many years. My husband says it takes a little longer to come to the boil than out previous kettle but I have not noticed this.
