A waste of time and money – I bought the karcher 2 to clean pavers in the patio. Each paver took 10 minutes and wasn't all that clean. I gave up. Someone took pity and loaned me their powerful Stihl. Did the job in no time. Maybe 1/2 minute a paver. Okay big difference in price but I totally wasted my money buying the karcher 2 Show details
Worst pressure washer! – This pressure was has no power at all. The garden hose would be a better solution. Absolute waste of money!! Show details
great value – cost $120.00 at bunnings, cleaned about $1000 worth of stuff!! honestly its so cheap to purchase i could throw it away now and be happy, never turn this unit on without having water connected and turned on, running this unit dry will kill it in about 30 secondfs, instructions clearly state that and im thinking a lot of people made this mistake… Read more · 1
and thats why it blew up, instructions say light clenaing, cars bikes but ive done pavers concrete driveway and it worked a treat, amazed by its power and cheap purchase price, but beware, follow instructions!!
peace out
Don't buy this machine – Bought Karcher K2 early in 2020. Used it a couple of times, but then mid way through a job, motor went to full revs but no pressure. When I took it apart, there is an epicyclic gearbox between the motor and pump, which had broken. Karcher has gone cheap with plastic gears instead of metal, and there are only 2 gears. Show details
Buy the version with a double more powerful wand – I have had 3 Karchers over the last 30 years and one Gerni. The latter brand I would not buy again. I recently bought a K2 with a single nozzle having previously had the same model and another model with two wands. The single wand is fine for lightly soiled areas but very ordinary on concrete or pavers. I bought on price which was my mistake. If… Read more
you only buy the K2, pay the extra and buy it with the two wands, which I believe has a rotating nozzle. It's worth the extra amount as it costs more to buy the more powerful wand on it's own after the initial purchase. Or, buy a dearer model. I am off to buy that second wand now.
Always leaked – My pressure washer has always leaked. After using it 5 or 6 times it is now leaking so badly I can't use it. I phoned Karcher and was in a queue and was told they would call back when my place in the queue reached the top. That was 2 full working days ago!
Pump failure – What a pile of s#*te this unit is. I will never buy from karcher again. Used a handful of times over a few years and it burst the pump. Split the casing around the Plastic Pump. Junk bought from Bunnings. Very bad design of pump. Disposable after a few times of use. Don't waste your money on this one. Show details
Not a German product – I pure hasted a karcher k2 with extra dirt plaster but to my disappointment I do not as promised, for a German product I expected more. After 2 days the lifting handle broke of. not enough blast even to shift a little grass in the pavers only purchased it 9 days ago wonder if I can return it. The previously cleaner was a gerni lasted 5 years was only a base model serenely aut performed this one. Show details
Waste of time, energy and money – My first Karcher pressure cleaner lasted a few weeks. I have just bought a second one to replace it which doesn't work to begin with. I have spent ages on the phone to the support staff who ended up just telling me to take it back. What a waste of time and money. Show details
Would Recommend – I have had my Karcher for about 8 years... It is Amazing... love cleaning the congrete around the house and how it comes up so clean.. having dogs they can make the ground very dirty over time.. But with the Karcher i know i can always get it back to new.. Show details
good value for money – Purchased one of these a few years ago and cant fault it. Have used it just about every weekend cleaning dirtbikes, concrete, cars, fence etc. sometimes get a hot plastic smell after long periods of use (1-2 hours) waiting for it to die so i can upgrade but it just wont.
