figuring that it would include all the extras.

I was wrong, this more expensive deal did not contain anything additional to the other two bundles - in fact, it contained less, having no detergent what so ever beyond a small sachet.

I contacted karcher by phone and I was told that it was my fault for ordering that bundle. They did not accept the fact that no reasonable customer would order that one, has it not been for a poorly kept and confusing online store. Their suggested solution was to send the entire (and used) machine back for a refund and then to order a cheaper bundle! I asked if I could be refunded the difference in price over the phone to stop this wasteful, crazy process and they said no. I asked if they could send be two packets of both the tablets and liquid detergent (even though I would still be out of pocket) and they said no. They ended up agreeing to send me two liquid detergents only. So I'm about $50 down

All of the representatives were rude to boot. When I asked the call to be escalated i was told "I'll see if they will talk to you" - as if they might not! They were talking over me the whole time. I don't usually get cross, having a customer facing job myself, but I was furious after speaking with Karcher. Something seriously wrong with the place!

The actual machine feels cheap and it's very hard to connect the plastic pipes. I spent the better part of an hour trying to get the spray to work - like others, the lid wasn't perfectly aligned with the base. I've only used it once, hopefully I won't lose that little ring like many others do or end up with a blocked nozzle. I know that I'll be on my own if I do.

Buyer beware.

The trick is to align the buckets and lid properly – I had same problem where the pump won't work. Make sure your buckets sit in properly. And the top-half sits on the bucket with no gaps on sides. This allows the pump to reach the hose properly. There's nothing wrong with this product IMO it works perfect if you do those things. Only complaint it should come with a smaller head for car detailing. The one it comes with is too big. Show details ·  2

A Frustrating Machine – When it works, it works really well. However, once it goes wrong, I'm pulling my hair out. not worth fixing – I bought this second hand from cash converters and it looked brand new. I paid $30 with all the accesories and it looked like it may have cost $150 at the most new and i was shocked to see there over $500, the original price from Cash converters was $120 but i noticed the price was changed 3 times as they couldn,t sell it. for 15 minutes. when i lifted the top off to empty the water the thing never worked again. I am a mechanic and started pulling it apart. blew all the hoses out WITH the trigger open, still no good, noticed a rubber seal on the floor where i took the top off.. had a good look and saw it was off the suction tube, put it on and it worked for 3 minutes then stopped pumping. Spent 2 hours cleaning it up again and it worked another 5 minutes then the pump completely stopped. Its not worth fixing it and at $599 for a new one, your better off buying a cheap chinese unit off ebay for $99. The pump in this Karcher is smaller than a $29 fish tank pump.

I prefer Gerni over Karcher but Gerni dont make a unit like this anymore.

I got sick of pulling it apart and a 5 minute job often took 2 hours of mechanical crap. Its not heavy duty or even light duty.

upper vacuum body. The upper vacuum has to be removed frequently for emptying the buckets or changing water. the washer is very easily lost. this is an embarassing and frustrating design flaw

An expensive, poor quality product – Only used the machine about 6 times and the water doesn't pump out for the carpet cleaner function. Disappointing for such an expensive product. first service for over 12 weeks - we went to collect the machine and they had closed for stocktake! They insisted it was a small rubber seal, although I have photos to prove the seal was in place when it went back for service. They supposedly replaced the pump although magically now the seal is missing.

Absolutely waste of 100,000 flybuys points, waste of time and taking time off work to meet them to hand over/collect machine.

Karcher - this is a disgrace.

and the sections of rod fell apart very often. When this happened the soppy water splashed out everywhere. For the money paid I would expect a better quality product.

The service: after two uses, the vacuum was no longer spraying water. I called Karcher services and was advised a rubber washer was missing. I checked the vacuum again and in my opinion this is a design flaw: this small rubber washer (10 mm diameters and 2mm thickness) is just “sit” in between the lower and upper vacuum body. Yet the upper vacuum needs to be removed frequently for emptying the buckets or changing water. So this washer is very easily “gone with water”.

I live in Surfers Paradise, the closest Karcher centre is in Brisbane which is 1.5 hours driving. I decided to order online. I paid two rubber washers for $3.30 each plus $10 for delivery. After waiting for more than 6 weeks, I finally received delivery but it came with just one washer. I sent photos of the parcel and packing list to the service email of Karcher but I have not received any reply after a week.

This Karcher is not the one we knew - the German quality and services. Please think again if you really wish to pay the “German price” but receive cheap products and services.
