I used mine this morning to clean a rug with dried cat vomit on it. Seriously considering selling the cat and keeping the Karcher. One has to allow enough time to rinse out the tubing on the Karcher other wise all the filthy stuff collects inside the tubing over time. No problems if you run water through tubing before putting it away.

Yes, you have to wait 5-10 minutes for the water to heat up. I use it for steam vacuuming my carpet. I like using mine. Cleans up the cat mess well.

I will purchase one Karcher SV 7 Steam Vacuum Cleaner in the next couple of week in Karcher company, the manager told me the machine was made in Italy. It made me confucian. Karcher always made in Germany. But if made in Italy it still the same as good as made in Germany.
