Worst Tyres, I’ve ever had – Had these on for 1 day, car felt unsafe to drive, did not grip in wet or dry conditions. Car glided all over the road. Very noisy also. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I do not know how these tyres are still on the market. Show details

Better than expected ....1983 porsche 911sc – I drive my 911sc only in the dry however I have been caught out several times on a wet road and found the tyres giving excellent grip around corners when pushed moderately . In the dry they are great ..pushing hard into tight hair pins the tyres stick lick glue with no hint of breaking loose ..not even a screech. The steering is still very… Read more

precise and transmits great feel with the road .

The tyres are excellent value for money and give great performance . I have used yoko, Pirelli and michellins in the past which were all much more expensive nearly double the price of Kellys for very similar unnoticeable difference in performance ...

The wear of the tyres I can't comment about considering my porsche only a weekender..

I would recommend these Kelly charger gt tyres .

Much better available – I have now worn through 2 pairs of Kelly Charger GTs165/65/14 and had much opportunity to compare them with Toyo Cf1s which are a respected tyre. Charger tyres are ok in dry conditions but like other Kelly tyres I have owned, very unsatisfactory in wet conditions throughout their life. Toyos are better in every respect. They have had very… Read more

reasonable tyre life, about 40,000 on rear rims under mostly hard driving. The Kellys are Definitely NOT my choice of tyre for safety reasons. Spend a couple of dollars more and get a tyre with a decent reputation and better grip in wet conditions.

(Toyo on car when purchased car had perished, were noisy and were aquaplaners). After 55k 2 new GTs purchased Tyrepower, Hobart put on front. No sign of wear after 30k km. Have crossed Nullabor thrice Dec 2015 now Townsville. Many dirt, corrugated roads  Show details

A compromise tyre – I had a set of Kelly Charger GT tyres put on because they were reasonably priced and I was selling the car. However, the car did not sell and after 14,000km. I replaced them with a set of Toyos - what a difference. BUT, like most things in life - You get what you paid for

kelly charger gt – I bought these tyres from my local tyrepower for $99 each (175/65r14). I drive a 1990 ford laser and the kelly's have turned my car into a cornering animal, the sales guy said they are not intended to be sports tyres but they handle like mid range sports tyres. Steering response is fast but braking didn't improve much, I have driven about 400km on… Read more

kelly's the road noise wasn't good in high speed corners at first but the noise has seem to have settled down and they come with a 420 treadwear rating. For a hard wearing tyre that handles like a sports tyre you can't go wrong. steering response and handling road noise in the first few hundred km's (the noise does go away)

Just great – Really quiet tyres, quicker reaction on the road, had Sava tyres before, rubbish, read plenty of reviews and felt this would suit my Mitsubishi Colt 2008, happy with my selection, suspension feels taught and like new, the other tyres ( Sava)used to squat on irregular roads and squirrel around and let pressure out on a weekly basis, my wife even… Read more

feels the difference on the road, bought them from Tyre Power in Scorseby, really good service, they were a good price to. Quiet, really good on the road.

Love Em! – Only had them a short while.(few 100 km),but Compared to the Kuhmo Tyres I had on my WRX (daily driver-no track work), these don't tramline and are very quiet.Love em! Just hope they last alot longer than the Kuhmos! Time will tell and rotation and alignment is essential on the AWD. dont tramline. quiet on the highway. nothing wrong with them so far! Show 6 replies

Great tyre - Much much cheaper than the big companies - offering great value for money – I put these on after having the MAXXIS MAV-1 which where horrible on my VZ commodore! They only managed around 50,000kms. These tires were cheaper, look better and they have another huge advantage, they are rotational! Meaning they can be rotated around the car, providing a more even wear, (provided you keep up regular tire rotations), compared… Read more ·  2

to a directional tire (such as the MAXXIS MAV-1 above).

I have done 11,000Kms on them so far and they are great. Great handling in both wet and dry. At 11,000kms there's no signs of wear, still look like new, I think they can last for ages!

The only downside is that they feather a little bit and cause a small whirring noise on high speeds, but that is a small drawback, as it does not affect handling or behaviour of the car whatsoever.

I got the 17" 235/45 for around $150 each. Great handling in both wet and dry - Looks good - Great price 17" can be found around $150 each Whirring noises on high speeds probably caused due to feathering (does not affect handling or car behaviour)
