Please help with front cover removal – Unit is ready to go into the wall but I cannot get the front plastic cover off to remove the aircon from the outer casing. Too frightened to be heavy handed as it appears to be brittle. The Manuel is not telling the full story on just how hard it is to remove. Show details · 1

Absolute Rubbish – Purchased this air conditioner 27/06/12. Lasted till 06/15 looked at warranty 24 months what a surprise. Would not heat or cool. Rang air conditioner specialist who asked the problem.Told me it was the compressor and best bet was to fill the hole up with another conditioner. There was a time when Kelvinator and Electrolux were looked at as high… Read more
quality products. All I am left with is a very heavy and very expensive plug to fill the hole in the wall.
5.3kw cooling only window/wall air conditioner – We brought the big one for our 1bdrm open flat, it cools it all down in less than 20mins, so easy to install we did it ourselves, its basically plug & play, absolutely stoked with it and recommend to everyone.....We've also got 27 smaller units at work same brand smaller model...Theyre still running faithfully 7yrs later. Does a good job at a great price – I bought two air-conditioners (both 2.6kw) at the same time - a wall mount and a split system - to replace two ancient wall air-conditioners. Went with the split system in the bedroom, this one in the lounge. Like all wall units, the Kelvinator is noisier (double the db rating on lowest fan setting), so as a light sleeper I'm glad I put the split… Read more
system in the bedroom, but this cools and heats just as well, and noise is not excessive or an issue in the lounge. Best of all I could install it myself, saved a $1000 all up, and don't have an ugly hole in the wall to fill in. I went with the heating model for an extra $100. We have gas heating, but if gas prices spike, this is a very efficient heating option.
The split system is great, but at nearly a third the cost, the Kelvinator wins hands down value for money. Just a shame there are few wall/window air-conditioners on sale anymore, as I couldn't find one that exactly fitted the old opening to make installation a breeze. The Kelvinator was slightly smaller, which was better than bigger, however.
Best Window Air Con Ever! – I bought a portable air con olympia splendid 4.7klw for $900 and it was rubbish took a hour on high setting to make a tiny differance to our bedroom.. I sold it in no time and bought a window 2.2 klw cooling only a/c less than 15 min later on Medium setting the room is freezing cold its extremely quiet as well easy to use and looks stylish im sooo… Read more
happy i bought this for the price they sell for quality brand at a cheep price .... Never buy a portable a/c they are Rubbish
Fantastic unit, Excellent value for money – I paid $549 for a KWH26HRB, mounted through a brick veneer wall for a 11m2 bedroom. (+$300 install) Excellent quality, great cooling and heating power, quiet for a window/wall unit. A bit overpowered for a 11 square meter bedroom.. so definitely suitable for a medium-larger room. Remote works wonderfully, buttons glow in the the dark! … Read more
Overall feel of the unit is good, although the clips that keep the right side of the front panel are relatively flimsy, so be careful when installing and removing the entire front panel!
And it's much better than the LG units of the same capacity. Kelvinator, despite being made in china, use Toshiba compressors and are a lot more durable and reliable than LG window/wall units. Powerful, quiet, simple to use, nice design, cheap, great value for money. Front panel clips are easily broken off if not handled carefully.
Excellent – All round it is a excellent air conditioner , heats excellent and cools the rooms down very nice especially since i have it upstairs it gets quite hot in the summer and it takes about 10-12 minutes before you feel cooler again which is great, no problems or issues with it Great all round
Terrible – Kelvinator has poor service and support after installation, im extremely disappointed with this product would not recommend purchase of the kwh39hrb air conditioning wall unit. The box had no signs of been tampered with or any signs of a dropped box but when opened it had bent housing and the unit was seperate from the front panel. Front Panel… Read more
does not fit properly and the clips to hold in are very poor quality. Price Poor Quality and craftsmanship. No After Sales Service. Disappointing air flow.

Excellent – Our company is very happy with the 3 Kelvinator products we had installed recently. They work extremely well on humid days and keep the office areas cool and comfortable. KWH26HRB and KWH62HRB were both easy to install and are very effective in cooling our open plan office area. As long as you get the right size model for the required area. Can be too cold and a bit noisy in an enclosed room.
