Kenwood Smoothie 2GO

Plastic delaminated within a week – I can't recommend this. The plastic on the blade section degraded and peeled off within a week! No wonder Myer was getting rid of them on sale. Don't buy it. And shame on Myer for trying to recoup some money on a crappy item. Show details
Shame the cups are poor – Had this blender for 3-4 years. The blender is adequate however the cup handles break off after a while. The plastic gets stress fractures as well. Tried to replace cups but seem to only be able to purchase from UK and the postage is expensive. Show details
I replaced a Nutribullet with this - quieter and powerful – I purchased this on sale for under $50 - a third of the price of the Nutribullet. Not as powerful as the Nutribullet but since I used the bullet for smoothies only, the Kenwood did the same job, quickly, and far, far more quietly than the bullet. Highly recommended. Show details
Love it compact and easy to clean – I use this every other day. It is so easy to clean and convenient cup sizes. It works well for fruit smoothies though it sometimes leaves a few lumps when using hard frozen food. Still for the price its good Show details
Fantastic little item – Great item for the price, I make my smoothies in it and also use it to finely chop things. My son went to just chop up some prawns for his fish, it turned it into liquid so easy lol.GREAT PRICE Show details
Good, cheap and works well – Got this on sale for $35, was $70 normally. Good simple blender, works well with proper seals. Takes slightly more time than a nutribullet but not really noticeable. Comes with 2 x jugs that are designed to take with you. This works great as one is fresh at home when I bring back the dirty one. Definitely a better option than a cheap Kmart one, and a lot cheaper then nutra/ninja bullets Show details
perfect – Been using this for over a year now and still going strong. Cup size is bigger than the others we looked at, so can make drinks for two in one go. Not a high powered blender but good enough for our regular smoothies. Show details
Decent, but nothing special – This blender is quite loud and I've found it sometimes doesn't blend everything smoothly. My wife uses it to make smoothies and has found that it hasn't blended fruits perfectly smooth a few times. Does the job though but I would probably look into a more powerful blender in the future. It is easy to use and store and is quite well built otherwise. Show details
Great smoothie maker - use it everyday! – I bought my Kenwood Smoothie2Go appliance as I wanted to make my own smoothie. I bought it at a sale at almost half price. Now I use it everyday! Instead of buying smoothie which can be rather expensive, I now make my own with my own home-grown strawberries and yoghurt. As I am using only Greek yoghurt, fresh strawberries or frozen berries… Read more
with some milk, I have not put on any weight even though I have a smoothie everyday. It is very refreshing on a hot summer day.
Great machine – Been using this for over a year now and still going strong. Cup size is bigger than the others we looked at, so can make drinks for two in one go. Not a high powered blender but good enough for our regular smoothies Bought it on sale from Myer. Show details
Great for the price – Purchased this little blender over a year ago and it's still going strong. I don't run the motor very long, but it blends soft fruits very well and quickly. Handle on the cup is great, some others do not have this. It also handles hard ice cream and some crushed ice in there as well. Only thing, would be nice to have a soft drinking lip. Otherwise good little blender. Show details
Small, quiet and very reasonably priced – I purchased this little 'upside down' blender to replace a traditional 'jug' style blender to make smoothies. Although it has only a 300w motor, it seems to have no problems with a mix of fruit, juice and yogurt. Pulse / speed control works well and you never get any lumps or chunks of fruit left in the smoothie. It can also blend veggies and… Read more · 1
other stuff, but you need to put some liquid in the cup . Mine came with two cup and two lids. Love it!
- June 2016 update. It's almost 8 months old and still going great. Have been using it to make smoothies for breakfast 4-5 times a week. No sign of wear on the blade / bearing assembly, no leaks on the seal and both jugs are still in great condition. Bargain!
- Dec 2017 update. Still going strong. No leaks. Both jugs still in great condition. Blades and drive shaft still great.
