Leaking jug – Sadly the jug leaks oil in and out of the jug after using it for less than 2 years. It’s appalling how bad it is for the price I paid, back then it was $900… Show details
Power House – A1 Unit, expensive however, it’s what a blender should be. It’s a little scary when it reaches full speed. Running it is super easy. Cleanups are a little time consuming. However, it’s worth the effort. Makes the best mango smoothie!! Forget the rest! Sticking with Kitchenaid! Show details
Thermal jug cracked - Product Faulty – I am always a KitchenAid fan so when I was in the market for a powerful blender, I trusted KitchenAid to deliver a high quality and durable product. I was considering the other high end brands like Vitamix. After three years (average once a month usage), I am extremely disappointed that cracks started appearing in the inner wall of the thermal… Read more
jug. How can a high quality product became faulty? I don’t think it’s reasonable for the jug to crack in such a short time.
Love the colour and the style of the blender. The motor is still going pretty well.
Thermal jug design flaws. Cracked inside leaks in between layers of jug. Could cause food poisoning – Ice cube cracked inside of jug when making a protein shake. Normal weekly use. Now dangerous to use as could cause food poisoning as leaks between the thermal layers of jug. Kitchenaid refused to cover under the warranty. Have still got a ten year old vitamix that I have never had a problem with. Very disappointed, looks good but the square design results in a fragile jug to use. Show details
Perfect – This is a great product. It looks modern and sleek and is powerful enough to blend just about everything. It makes fantastic smoothies, sauces and soups. I use it most days and I couldn't be happier with it. Show details · 1
More powerful than a jet engine – I am not a cook. In fact I HATE cooking. So I bought this blender to make healthy vege juices, soups and smoothies. I am really impressed at just how powerful this blender is. It has 4 "preset" progammes (shakes, smoothies, soups and self-clean) as well as10 variable speed options. Personally I only use the pre-programmed options. The soup option… Read more · 1
makes piping hot soup from scratch. No need to use a pan at all, and no need to make huge batches that you freeze and defrost later. I just make it as I need it. It is quite noisey but it pulverises anything I put in there. I make detox smoothies int he morning with frozen berries, a bunch of nuts and seeds, ice cubes and a vitamin pil. The entire tthing takes about a minute and it comes out totally liquified and velvety. No a single bit of "grityness. These blenders don't come cheap, and they are in a limited range of colours, but I think they out perform their competition in the same price bracket (like VitaMix). 3.5 horse power + the square blender jug = nothing escapres the blades. It comes with a stick to push down anything whilst it's blending (designed to stop short of hitting the turning blades) and a double-wall insulated jug for making hot soups from scratch. I waited until the sales as it dropped in price a little and came with an extra (single wall) jug. They weigh a fair bit so it would be the kind of thing you would probably leave on your counter top, but I seriously use mine twice a day. Leave the NutriBullet for dead!
