RH90 – We have a RH90 for about 10 years. Have replaced the motors three times and it is now playing up again. Dripping oil from the underside.According to the technician, it is quite common. Looking to replace with something more reliable though the dismantling looks complicated. Hope you guys had better luck.

Great look ! – We have the RH 60 model which looks great, is easy to clean and maintain eg change lights etc, however we find it terribly frustrating to have to replace motors 4off now at a cost of approximately $185.00 each.

Excellent – It looks great - the fan is huge - it sucks up all the steam and smoke without any trouble. I was told it wouldnt be big enough for my cooktop but when told kitchen people about fan size they said it was more than enough. So for a small sleek unit it works fantastic. Easy to clean. You can just slide it out a little bit for the lights to come on automatically and it gives a fantastic look Everything looks great - powerful fan - the lights look great nothing - maybe a bit noisy when on full

Excellent – we are an average family, we do a stir fry every now and then, we haven't had to use number 3 on the fan. we mainly use number 1 if I'm maybe number 2. we thought the fat and steam would get the glass dirty but this has not been the case. we have had this just over a year and it still looks like new. the filter goes in the dishwasher all fatty and dirty and then comes out like new. the glass just wipes down. it really sucks. the filter fits into our dishwasher for cleaning. 10 year warranty nothing to report at this stage

Has anyone else had problems with the light bulbs dropping out of their sockets? Our RH90 is now 6yrs old and I have changed about 6 bulbs now - recently one popped out into the saucepan of pasta so I removed one of the lamp sockets and investigated. It appears that the light bulb has a small groove across each of its flat sides towards the twin pin end of the bulb - this is critical as when inserted two bent metal parts of the socket should rest on these grooves but they don't and stop short by 2 or 3mm hence any vibration of the fan or opening/closing the canopy can cause the bulb to pop out. I will try to get 2 new sockets and check them against the bulbs - and report back.

Excellent – Another of the Kleenmaid Appliances we had installed in our new home, the rangehood was a modern touch to an otherwise contempory kitchen. The glass hood retracts to almost 100% so that it doesn't get in the way whilst attending the stove but the light and fan continue to operate. The twin halogen globes give great light and are readily replaceable. The filter is easily removed and a dip in the dishwasher brings it out good as gold. The glass comes clean with a wipe of a soapy dishcloth every now and again. Unobtrusive & extremely effective. Extra Strong suction, elegant & great lighting. Nothing yet

Mine only lasted 5 years before it just stopped. Completely buggered ! To replace it with the exact same would me $1000 + - you would think these things would last longer than 5 years - Not happy Jan !!!
