It does not cut Zoodles . so disappointed – The Slices are not cut through - left with fringe ..... did the designer actually make chips or noodles?????? It costs too much in postage to return it. Show details
Another overpriced product destined to end in the bin – Doesn't really perform as it's supposed to. Potato chip cutter adjustment doesn't work to fully separate each chip individually no matter what settings we tried. We felt that by the time we cut the chips then spent the time pulling each potato chip apart from the other - plus pulling the machine apart to clean it - it was much easier and quicker… Read more
to cut the chips by hand using a knife. Slicing tomatoes works if the fruit is firm, but if soft - forget it. Some of the sliced product tends not to want to land in the receptacle designed to collect it, (too small) meaning it's likely you'll end up with some on the floor if you're not aware. Like all these thing advertised on TV, there is a reason retailers won't stock them and that is they aren't much good to begin with and they're too expensive for what they are. Plastic design not nearly robust enough to last either. Conclusion: save your money!

Buyer beware – Does not slice right through when using chip slicer. You have to break vegetables apart after slicing. Hard to clean without cutting yourself. When trying to push the vegetables through , the slicer hits the pusher which being plastic is not good. Cannot recommended unfortunately. Everything else I have bought from Kalevala range has been great. Show details

Swifty slicer – I purchased 2 of these slicers and also purchased the OXO brand slicer. The swifty slicer is flimsy and does not have a usable grater, the saftey holder does not pack inside the unit, made from cheap plastic and was cracked on arrival (replaced by Kleva without question). The OXO brand slicer all packs away in a locked unit, not flimsy and is well… Read more
made. Out of the 2 the OXO slicer wins hands down. Pay the extra $20 and buy the OXO brand, simply brilliant.
Buyer Beware – although the concept is a good idea, they have a considerable way to go regarding safety. the vegetable holder's supposedly 'saftey' design does not protect hands/fingers enough if your hand slips off. Momentum and inertia wins every time. I found this out the hard way. Thanks to the staff in the ED who looked after what was left of my thumb. Show details
Some pros, some cons – On the upside 1. Constructed of very robust plastic and has a nice sturdy feel. 2. The blades are excellent and it slices things like potatoes, zucchinis etc. well. Also fingers! Cons 1. The slicer doesn't "click" onto the catcher, just rests on it loosely, so it is difficult to stop it moving around on top of the catcher without an… Read more
uncomfortable death grip - which is really irritating!
2. Not a deal breaker, but it would also be nice if the two halves of the "container" unit clipped together.
3. There must be a knack to using the julienne slicers. I can't get them to cut right through to the end of a carrot (say) even slicing it sideways as opposed to lengthwise.
