Kmart Anko 45L Benchtop Oven

Does the job beautifully – I’ve cooked roasts, cakes, curries, ribs, and pastries in this little oven and it’s done the job amazingly. It was the only oven we had as a family of 5 and it delivered time and time again. I highly recommend it and would buy again. It also goes above 200 degrees whereas the Kmart air fryer oven only goes up to 200 degrees, no higher. Show details

No it's not perfect , but I'm still giving it 5 stars – We have had this oven for 21 months and have used it on average 6 days a week for everything from roast dinners , including rotisserie chickens , xmas roast dinner , cakes , loaves , biscuits etc . time of the year . This thing could well lay claim to being a green product because it has saved us a good whack off our power bill . We will never return to a full size stove/wall oven . The imperfections are as mentioned , the hard to read control knobs and it's no walk in the park to clean either . But those issues aside there is no competition in the market place for this product at any where near its price point . Finally I would like to know why those 2 , one star " reviewers " chose to bag a very good overall product rather than return their obviously faulty ones for a swap or refund which we all know Kmart does with no argument ?

Oven does not reach temperature as per dial – Takes forever to cook anything, set dial on 180 put in another oven thermometer to double check temp. Only got to 100. Increased to 210 and thermometer got to 120. Not impressed considering other reviews said how good it is. Looking for another as this was just a waste of money. to buy a proper oven until Reno’s are completed. I haven’t got all day to cook dinner for the family. Kmart should be ashamed to even have this product on their shelves. Other electrical goods from Kmart work well.

This is great oven – Great oven big enough for roast ,cakes ,muffins separate grill function , bake and rotisserie just like a normal oven .very thing cooks just the same as normal oven so impressed had 3 years.

Great Oven! – If you are cooking for a small family, or less, you could spend a lot of money to get better. This benchtop oven is a convection oven and can air fry, cook multiple shelves evenly and rotisserie. It also has a low temperature dial for bread rising and dehydrating. to read. You could, accidentally, confuse temperature and timer, at first. But for an oven that will serve you for many years, that is only a short term issue.

Takes ages to cook anything – I am disappointed in this oven. It obviously doesn't get as hot as the heat dial says. I need to add an hour onto any cook time for example, chicken drumsticks-1.5-2 hours to cook properly. recommend this oven as a pie warmer only. I am currently looking for a replacement. I can't afford to wait 2 hours to cook anything with 2 hungry children.

A fantastic asset in my kitchen – When my conventional oven ceased to function and the small benchtop replacement did the same, I was looking for something that would fill their place. the bill, and for a very reasonable price. Well, it has surpassed my expectations. Most regular sized trays, etc., fit in it also, which is a real bonus. Cooks bread beautifully. Great for pastries and vegetables too. Easy to clean also. I would highly recommend this oven, especially for a family of 2-4 people. Thank you Anko/Kmart.
