Kmart Anko 900W Nutritional Pro Blender
VerifiedMPN: WBL-21051 review
New Worse Than Old! – Have recently bought WBL-2105 blender as a replacement for an Anko 207414 that saw over 4 years of very heavy use. Good points in comparison to what it replaced: - very simple and easy to use; - less noisy; Bad points: - too simple, too few functions, less user's control; - blunt blades, so doesn't cut/blend well; - gasket/seal between the cup and blade assembly much harder to get out for cleaning/washing.
Altogether, worse blender than 207414. I give it 2.5 stars (as compared to 4.5 for the old one), as I'm unhappy with what it produces. I can't understand why Anko would discontinue a very good model 207414, to replace it with something worse.
Purchased in at Kmart for $69.
- Product is used: Daily
- Used for: Cocktails, Dips & Condiments and Smoothies
In further comments, after a few days usage I'm ever more unhappy with it. Chunks of soft fruits (apples) in the smoothies, even after full 1 minute operation, even after I've managed to sharpen the blades a little. I'm tempted to take it back for a refund as it's quite a dud.
