Kmart Anko Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner EV-6803-S259
VerifiedMPN: EV-6803-S2593 reviews
Bought the cordless stick vacuum, without checking reviews...BIG MISTAKE , l thought by buying the more expensive one @ $155 it would be better than the cheaper one, as only wanted it for small tidy-ups... and to be easier on my back . It is utterly useless, if l could give it zero stars l would, it barely has the suction strength to pick up the slightest lint... and you have to be quick cos the battery life is only about 15 mins, then it takes hrs to get fully charged again, and u can't buy spare batteries. I would have taken it back but b/c l live over 1 hr away by the time l checked the receipt to return it the warranty time lapsed by1 mth..... Don't bother wit this one...
EDIT; I would like a complete refund as it hasn't been used that much ; all you replied is exactly what l said ; and just to make your company look/act concerned.
Purchased in at K mart for $155.

We had this vacuum for 2 and a half years. We have a 200 sqm home which we vacuumed pretty much every day with it. It still works but time to replace it. The retaining clips are and have been broken for a while and the battery percentage is more like a countdown timer. It lasts up to five minutes. But, the main parts are still good. for it's current $150 price tag you can't go wrong. It has decent suction. When new, battery life is good, and to be honest all batteries regardless of brand last only so many charge cycles. I would recommend it whole heartedly.
Thanks for your feedback!
We purchased this product from Kmart. It is under 2 years old and out of warranty, used for light duty household cleaning. It developed a motor/bearing noise and now unusable. Contacted Kmart support. Kmart say this product is supported by its service agent. Contacted their support agent my email to source bearings/motor for this product. Email received back saying internal spares are not available for purchase. Filed a complaint with Kmart. Several wordy emails later with Kmart, no solution. Not good enough Kmart. A product less than 2 years old, lasted less than 2 years and I cannot source required spares for it. Environmentally irresponsible as it will go to land fill.
Follow-up · Was used for minor vacuuming upstairs when it wasn't worth getting out the normal vac. Used on average once a week. Unfortunately & expected nothing heard back from kmart.

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and understand how disappointing it must be to purchase a vacuum specifically for quick clean-ups, only to find the suction power and battery life don’t meet your expectations. It’s especially frustrating when you chose a higher-priced model expecting better performance and then found returning it difficult due to the distance from your nearest store. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, as it helps highlight where improvements are needed.
