Absolutely worth the $15, I was really doubtful about it working but it works and cooks your toastie in 3 minutes it’s 1 and half minutes then flip the whole thing over for another 1 and half minutes better than my other sandwich maker Nice crispy toastie. You can take the grill bits out of casing to wash because if you don’t water gets trapped inside the cover, it doesn’t say to remove them but I think it’s better if you do and it’s a bit tricky taking them out and in again but it’s doable.
Follow-up · It gets hot enough that I burnt my mouth when I took a bite and the melted cheese oozed out, you have to let it cool down a bit lol. I haven't tried any other toastie filling because my go to is usually just cheese tomato and cheese tomato and ham, but you could use anything you wanted, just don't overfill it because you have to clip it shut and it will squash down and ingredients will start to ooze out. I have a 1000 w microwave and that's what I use it on the full power.

Super microwave toastie maker – Had doubts about this product, however bought one to try in my microwave. Well very surprised, made a well toasted sandwich really good. Highly recommend this product, good value as well.
