Kmart Stick Mixer

Works well but it's not made to be cleaned properly. Is disgusting having to mix the food with a tool that has food scraps from previous preparations. I spend soo much time cleaning it. The instructions included are not even made for that specific model. What a waste. Show details
Great if you want a short lived stick blender – Only lasted 8 uses then died on me while tracing my soap. Never again buying cheap appliances. True is the saying...You get what you pay for. I don't recommend. Show details
Anko - get what you pay for! – I replaced my breville stick blender with the Anko version. While the Anko eventually does the job it feels like a toy. Its power and grunt are not in the race with Breville. Of course there is a big price difference but over the life of an appliance this becomes irrelevant. The Anko comes with zero extras just the blender. I will ditch the Anko and buy a new Breville. Lesson learnt. Anko is false economy!

Poorly designed and built – Inexpensive product. Previously had a Bamix that served me well for around 20 years, after having bought it second-hand. I was initially dubious about the two-part design of this K-Mart mixer, that needed to be clicked together before operating. It worked OK however, for eight months. Last week I dropped it on the kitchen floor. A tiny piece of… Read more
white plastic broke off, but it was critical for the blender. With the piece missing, the two parts would not hold together. I needed to dispose of it; felt so wasteful. Next time I will buy a more durable mixer, and pay more for it.
Cheap, does the job but not durable – Cheap at $15, did its job fairly well but motor died after about a year. Good if you haven’t bought a stick mixer before and want to see if it would be useful to you and are willing to roll the dice on how long it lasts Show details
Can't fault it! – This hand-held stick mixer cost me $15 at Kmart and works like a dream. When you are not familiar with a product why pay top dollar? It does everything I need, at a fraction of the cost of the big brand hand-held blenders. (If I may be so bold: make you own hommus with one can of Edgel Chick Peas, several gloves of fresh garlic, a tablespoon of EV olive oil, 1/2 spoon of Cumin, and whatever else takes your fancy.)
