Kmart Stick Mixer with Chopper Set

It works if you don't use any actual torque in the prep. I made peanut butter from peanuts with the food processor attachment until the motor smoked a little. When I pureed chickpeas, it made some black smoke and the motor died. I've had other stick blenders that made hummus with no issues in the past. The attachments and dial to increase/decrease the speed make it seem like this stick blender is a bargain, but it has a weak motor. Show details
Versatile and easy to use and store – I rate this product highly , versatile and does exactly what it says chops and mixes but also minces seafood and poultry and spices . Purchased 18 months ago and still going strong. Great for the caravan and when I don’t want to use the mix master Show details · 1
Tooo difficult to disconnect – I can't really review because after trying the whisk now i can't disconnect the thing. So who knows how well it works as i can't trial anything else on it. I noticed a previous review that said the same thing as in 'no amount of brute force' will unattach it. Plus no instructions included as to how to disconnect it.. I'll be taking it back as… Read more
soon as I'm next at Kmart, which is quite a distance away and therefore a costly inconvenience. unless i get some info as to maybe there's a trick to simplify it. Is there?

Rubbish quality – I didn’t expect too much when I purchased this stick blender but I didn’t think the quality would be so bad. I bought it to blend soups and on reading the instructions it says Not to use for longer than 10 seconds on high and 30 seconds on low to avoid damaging the motor. Allow the appliance to cool down for 2 minutes between cycles. Really! I… Read more
would have expected more than this. Shame on your buying team Kmart. I bought online so couldn’t check the quality. The reviews for this product on Kmart site gives good reviews. Looks a bit like they are made up reviews. Don’t buy.

Terrible product – Used no more than 10 times and won't work at all. This is a rubbish item. If you are looking for a reliable stick mixer avoid this one at all costs. Show details

Just working for 2 years not mor – After 2 years not working good and all peaces separated. Disappointed. I am not happy about that. It helped me for 2 years not more. The plastic that has been used for it wasn’t strong enough Show details

Sadly topped working :'-( – Sadly my stick mixer just stopped working after perhaps half a dozen uses :-( Prior to this I also notices that water gets stuck in the top on the hole for the chopping attachment, which caused a health hazard as this then went mouldy...it literally smelt like poo was in in. Perhaps for the best I need to replace it Show details
Can’t unlock the Kmart Stick Mixer – This renders it unable to be used with other attachments. Is there any way of doing it please? I have asked numerous people to try - with no luck. It was bought for whiling and blending soups. Have had Kmart products before and all were satisfactory. Surely there is a solution. Show details
I hate mine – I bought this a few weeks ago and I hate it, the earlier version of 2017/18 was way better than this newest version, I have had nothing but trouble with it and I didn’t keep my receipt thinking it would be as good as my previous one. This newest version gets stuck together with each attachment used and it takes brut force to unattach them and… Read more
that’s even when lining up the arrow correctly for lock and unlock, then it takes some screwing around to line up the chopping blade with the lid for using with the bowl and the blades of the bowl are on some sort of spring so u put the blade in and instead of sitting just flat on the bottom of the bowl it tilts to one side due to the spring which then makes it difficult to line the lid up for chopping, and it still cost me $30 what a waste of money and I’m annoyed, that it’s not as good as the previous one.
Love it! – I needed to replace my original stick blender from Kmart that was over 10 years old (only because I dropped it and exposed the wires). I studied reviews and was going to go with something over $100 but read good reviews about this Kmart set. I have a Thermomix but this is my go to machine for most things as I can see what size I am cutting to… Read more
with the blender. I usually cut onion, bacon, parsley and can’t fault it. It might not be the sturdiest but for the price you can’t complain. Cuts through frozen strawberry and banana pieces for smoothies with ease. I really think this is one of the best things I have ever brought for the kitchen.
Literally broke the instant I first used it – My wife bought this for me on the weekend citing its bargain price and good reviews. Went to use it the first time today and it broke the instant I turned it on. Spend the extra on something a little better quality. Show details
Great value for money! – I've only been using this for 1 month, so I can't confirm its longevity however I can confirm it works great for $29 stick blender! Purees everything I've thrown at it perfectly - I got this to make baby foods, so I'm very happy. Mashes & chops well too. Haven't tried the whisk Very easy to clean Show details
Can't recommend - blade too high – Went to blitz some avo in the bowl with blade and it was just pushed to he sides and the blade spun around over the top of the chunks of avo. Blade sits too high. Consider this is the most frequent thing I would do with it, I would say it's a fail. Probably chops up a pile of nuts ok. I haven't used the other parts. Show details
Surprised how great all components of this are! – I went in looking for just the $15 stick mixer on it's own, and was really annoyed that they were sold out. I bought this $29 pack which has a motorised handle with attachments to turn it into a stick mixer, a whisk, and a chopper, expecting everything except the mixer attachment to go unused cluttering up the back of a cupboard. However since… Read more
using them all for the last few months, every component has been super useful, easy to clean, small to store, and really effective. I now always chop onions in the chopper attachment, and they are perfectly chopped within seconds. Leave it going for longer and it purees them. Really quick and effective. The whisk I have used heaps too, quickly whipping cream in the beaker that comes with the set. As for the stick mixer attachment, it does the job I originally bought the whole thing for. The rest was a happy bonus. None of the parts say whether they are dishwasher safe, which is the only downside I can think of, however I've been putting everything in the dishwasher anyway, and so far so good. No complaints after several months use, and great value for $29.
