We got this sofa bed to put in our bus motor home so it can be a spare bed also. The sofa bed is very cosy and I love the luxe material. It was a little tricky to put together for some reason one screw in leg just wouldn’t go in!! But happy with the result. Purchased the sunset rust koala (cushy) sofa bed as a 1.5 seater. I love the colour and boucle-style material. It doubles as a nursery couch and a pull-out bed. The fabric is excellent quality (thick and hard wearing) both the sofa and the bed are very comfortable. Adult guests comment on how comfortable it is. bed than it is as a couch. -So comfy as a bed: it’s honestly so so comfortable as a bed. I have the extra topper thing, but even without that it’s amazingly comfy. Like hands down if you have guests stay over and sleep on this thing there’s a decent chance they’ll say it’s as good/better than their bed at home. -Aesthetic is beautiful: while I have issues with how the material feels, I love how it looks. It’s a nice looking couch.
Don’t love: -Couch is too firm: man, this couch just isn’t soft enough. It has softened a bit over time, but it’s still too firm. If you’re after a couch that you really sink into, this isn’t for you. -Material is too scratchy: the material is not pleasant. My friend described it as a “sensory nightmare”, which is maybe a little extreme, but it does feel a bit like a hessian sack. If you’re after a couch that feels nice on bare skin, this ain’t the couch for you.
Summary: -Koala do offer a free trial period, and I did consider returning the couch for many months. But I eventually decided the pros outweighed the cons (including the hassle of returning it). -Mine couch is in my living room in front of my tv. When I want to watch tv I’ll convert it to ‘bed mode’ because it’s so much more comfy, and it only takes 30 seconds… -I think this is a perfect couch for a spare room where guests can stay. But I don’t think it’s an ideal choice for your main couch given the issues I described.

It's not a good couch – It's been one year since I bought the koala sofa bed. It's a great bed, and we've had a few people over who had good sleep on it. However it is a very uncomfortable couch. off the couch and while we try to readjust it so that it stays on, it's not good and slides off again over the course of a day.
I don't recommend this sofa bed if you plan to keep it in the sofa set up for the majority of the time.
My partner and I are looking to buy a new couch and very unhappy about the money that we spent on this couch a year ago. We now have to decide to keep it around as a second couch or sell it on facebook marketplace.
They replied to me here and said the aftercare team would get in touch with me - it has been over two weeks and they still have not contacted me.

discount for the new lux edition. I chose to keep my business with Koala and bought a queen size in paperbark. The fabric material feels so much softer, the stitching work looks the part and there was hardly any marks or creases. Overall, it looks and feels like a top quality product. And it's great as a sofa and a bed. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious sofa bed.
