Excellent – This is a nice and easy to use camera for beginners such as myself. It is a nice compact size, it is not bulky, and it is easy to slip into your bag. Aesthetically pleasing, as it comes in a lovely silver colour. I would definitely recommend this camera for photography beginers, as it is very easy to use. compact little unit, and very easy to use. Just focus, point, and shoot. Easy done. Very good sized screen to view your pictures on. The only negative thing is that is must take alkaline batteries, not normal batteries.
Good – overall a cheap simple camera to use. heaps of photos taken. however shutter is a little slow so with little kids especially you tend to miss the smile and photos taken display for too long so it's not easy to get quick shots. Always use alkaline batteries with no problems as far as the camera working. only thing is you can't leave the batteries… Read more
in when the camera is not in use as they die.unlike other reviews i like the easyshare software. as i am not overly skilled at alot of computer knowledge i find it easy to use. big screen, simply to use cannot leave batteries in unit. shutter reaction is slow
Terrible – I bought this model camera due to the price and the size of the 8.2mb picture size,as I bought it on line when I checked I found that you really needed a memory card to take more than a few pictures. When I used the camera and tried to use "Picasa" I found that the Kodak easy share software wanted you to use that only and it was very hard to get… Read more
photos to "Picasa"to email them as the Kodak software does not allow gallery or email photos to be sent.My old Digitex was never this problem. To add insult to injury I took only 10 pics before the Kodak batteries died. Brand name Software
Good – This camera was very easy to use for all members in our family. The buttons are spaced well so that people with bigger fingers can press a button accurately. The menu is easy to use and has good prompts to follow. There is a good range of types of photographic shooting but not enough to confuse the amateur photographer. The screen is a great… Read more
size and is very clear. The software is also simple to use and very efficient. A great size to fit in any bag to take anywhere. Simple to use with a huge screen on the back. Hard to find compatible hardware such as a loading dock.
Terrible – Hopelessly unreliable, with poor after-sales service. Failed to live up to its promise. Avoid. Cheap, but maybe you get what you pay for. Cheap. 8.2 megapixel. Photos were not too bad. We bought two of these for our kids for Christmas 2008. Within 3 weeks BOTH cameras had packed up. One just stopped altogether and that was it; the other only… Read more
worked intermittently. New batteries did not help.
Worse, when we took them back to the shop, Big W, they said that Kodak would only repair them (about 4 weeks) not refund or replace. A drag. Luckily the nice people at Big W called Kodak and pleaded our case, successfully, so we got a refund. If only the quality of the Kodak camera matched the service at Big W.
Also, Kodak told the Big W person that these need lithium batteries, but in the book it says alkaline will do. This contradictory advice is not helpful.
Bad – This digital camera is easy to use and looks good. The photos at night are filled with noise and this ruins the photo. Half decent camera. Photos come out good. There is no zoom while video recording. The quality is half decent but still almost as bad as a mobile phone.
