Read the manual but still not able to rectify. Show details
Perfect unit very healthy – after a suspicious start we now use this unit to cook everything from a full dinner to baking cakes the time to cook is less and the unit uses much less power than other units Show details
Healthy fried meals – I have had this Kogan 12L 1800w Air Fryer for going onto my third month now, very happy with it and very worth buying, it is a smaller air fryer, and what it has in features for a very economical price point is great. I cannot compare this to other brands, cause I only ever owned one other air fryer, which was completely different, so whether… Read more
this is better than other air fryers, I cannot really state, but over all I am very happy with it and do recommend in getting one if you are in the market for an air fryer.
The features of this air fyer, its digital, it has a rotisserie, it has multiple shelves, its proposed to be able to dehydrate food, it has a drip tray, it has a food basket, it comes with skewer for rotisserie, for hot dogs and chickens multiple attachments, chip cage. It is limited to size of chickens if you use it to roast a chicken and there is a learning curve too it, though the digital controls are very nice and responsive, the learning curve is preferential in cooking choice really. I have cooked a chicken in this, first time ever within this way of cooking, so I did ok, but I had to place in the oven due to the fact it was not fully cooked through, as I stated there is a learning curve to it, same with chips, there is a learning curve to it also, as relying on the pre-set mode, I do find it does not fully cook through to my view of how it should come out - so not a flaw within the product just that one needs to learn to use it to cook to their satisfaction.
I do have some recommendations - with chips, I majorly do prefer deep fried chips, but ultimately that is not the point of an air fryer, as deep fry is not healthy, fresh home made chips, i do think to get the flavour, deep frying is the only way to go, premade chips are cooking in oils, so they come out ok. Within a roast or cooking meat, some flavour to be had is semi cooking in a frypan or oven with oil, then finishing of the meal inside the air fryer (this is suggestion to my views) by semi cooking, you are adding flavour, you also get a massively more crunchy on the outside and soft tender within the inside.
The Door of the air fyer is great, for the price of this device, its brilliant, the fact you have all the features, the fact you can have chips on a rotisserie within a cage and moving around so its more even flow of heating is great, it also has a light - this light is minor and goes off after a short time. I gave it 5 stars cause there is no fault in the device, everything is dishwasher safe, also if you have a steam cleaner you can clean the insides better and its not hard to clean
I have a chicken leg combination of cooking, where i pan fry the chicken legs with my secret herbs and spices, then transfer to the air fryer and finish cooking in there, and wow never ever have i had chicken as good as that - even had the skin of the chicken legs resemble pork crackling (mind you not flavour but crunchy) and soft and juicy upon the inside
Delivery from Kogan was quick and I am happy with it 100%
Life changing cooking! – Absolutely changed my life, it's fantastic and perfect size for a whole meal instead of cooking in batches or having to turn the oven on. I no longer cook with oil at all, would recommend this for any small to medium size family. It's easy to use with preset functions and touchscreen display. Cooks almost anything perfectly, can even dehydrate foods which cuts down on wastage. Show details
Solid performer – Works well, good amount of browning and great at steaks. Would be great to have a full manual mode, but the auto modes cover nearly all scenarios. Happy with my purchase! Show details
A great way to save some time – I purchased this product because I was looking at ways to help me save time cooking and also encourage my children to have some independence in the kitchen (and I must admit - the rotisserie looked enticing). I have found that it has definitely met my expectations. I can easily reheat food (I don't like the way the microwave reheats), makes bread… Read more
super crunchy, keeps dishes warm and best of all, my children are super excited to pop in some chicken nuggets and cook them for their lunch.
Excellent – Our family love our air fryer and we use it everyday and the food comes out to perfection. We bake everything from roasts, biscuits, vegies, pizza, chips etc, anything a normal oven would be used for. Love the idea of not having to wait for the oven to warm up first. You just put your food in, set the time and temp and off it goes. It beeps when… Read more
it is finishes and turns off straight away too. We have even bought this product twice as presents for people. Love and reccommend this unit
Quick and easy cooking – I used the rotisery to cook chicken the skin was crisp and it was the juiciest i've ever eaten. So much better at reheating than a microwave. Easier to keep clean than your large oven. The touch panel is very user friendly and clear. We are on off grid power so this air fyer gives us the flexability that a large oven doesn't do. We have only had this appliance for 3 months so i can't attest for it's longevity Show details
It's revolutionary! – Compact, easy to use settings and attachments, quick to clean and much healthier for everyone. We love our new air fryer and use it at least three to four times a week. Show details
Can't Live Without It! – I absolutely love my air fryer from Kogan. I use it all the time. It took me no time at all to get used to using it and I rarely use my big oven any more. The meat comes out so tender and juicy. I love the rotisserie function for cooking the most perfect BBQ chickens, just rememb er to baste every 15 minutes. It will only do a number 16 or… Read more
under chicken on the rotisserie but that would be my only complaint. I have done a full size leg of lamb in it without a problem. It is so easy to keep clean too, no more back breaking hard work. I would suggest investing in a food thermometer. All in all I highly recommend this product.
Airfies food great though – Airfies food great though mine was faulty after some months. Once logged with kogan, new one was sent out pretty quickly. I have added a surge protecter plug hoping this one lasts longer. Show details
Rotating basket stopped – Disappointed that the rotating basket stopped rotating after only a few uses, and getting repair/replacement all too difficult. When it did work, french fries and fish were great! some experimenting was needed before learning settings. Show details

Just 12 months old – Bought from Kogan last year for mothers Day. Easy to use. Used 3-4 times per week. Yesterday it beeped at me and turned off. Now it won't turn on. Reading other reviews, saying 12 months is about it for an Air Fryer. Makes one wonder why bother? Show details

Great easy to use appliance – I find the Air Fryer very easy to use. I love cooking chips, roast veg, jacket potato, salmon & crumbed chicken. Very easy to clean. Just remove base, place hot water and suds. Show details
Poor Buying Experience – I paid extra for fragile shipping but the item still arrived damaged. The wire tray is also quite dangerous. While washing it the tray shredded my kitchen sponge and cut my fingers and caused me to bleed while I was trying to pick the pieces of sponge stuck to the tray. I brought these matters to the attention of the Kogan customer support team… Read more
but I found the response to be rather inadequate as they failed to address my concerns about the dangers of the tray and were willing to offer me a $10 gesture for the damaged item. It was underwhelming for something that I bought intended as a gift.

Great product, with 1 downside – We purchased our 12 litre air fryer 3 weeks ago after our neighbour bought one and was happy with hers. So far we are really happy with it. Cooked a 3kg pork on the rotisserie, it was actually the bourbon pork recipe from the book and it was delish. Chips turn out great. Pies, steak, lamb rack etc have all turned out beautiful. Relatively easy to… Read more
clean, all accessories go into the dishwasher, but would recommend a piece of foil on the bottom under the drip tray, as liquid could overflow the drip tray and it would go into the edges and be impossible to clean out. There are a couple of issues I would raise. 1) Recipe book needs to be proof read better before printing. My neighbour has the previous model. One of the recipes in my book called for %cup of crumbs.... I looked at hers which had the same recipe and it actually tells you 1/4 cup of crumbs. In my recipe book a recipe says serves 25, hers for the same recipe and ingredients is serves 4... There are recipes for 4 chicken cutlets, a heap of potatoes etc and it says serves 1... so there's either a printing error or people with big appetites!! So the recipe book needs better attention. 2) We received an accessory that wasn't even listed in the accessories book Googled it and found out what it was and what to do with it. 3) This is going to sound really weird, but one of our dogs is petrified of the air fryer, to the point she will hide when it's being used. Google it if you don't believe me, it's a common problem!! I don't know if there's a high pitched noise that humans can't hear that they can, but if you're dog is acting weird...it's the air fryer
It's not a bad air fryer but needs some adjusting of temperature and learning how best to use it – I bought this 12L 1800W Digital Air Fryer Over. I had one of the first Tefal airfryers. We loved it and used it frequently. Unfortunately it came to an end and Tefal stopped making them. We mainly used it to air fry little potatoes. We then had to look for another airfryer. I must say that the rotating basket is not easy to put into… Read more
position. I therefore started frying our little potatoes on the wire racks together with chicken. When you use the wire racks you can air fry two different things at the same time. Instead of 180C I fry my little potatoes on 190 to 200C then put the chicken in the air fryer oven a bit later. I bought a book on Air Fryer recipes book from Kmart $15 with great recipes so hopefully I will get more use out of my air fry oven. It's very easy to clean. Kogan was slow to deliver. I ordered the air fryer on 2 November 2020 and it arrived 19 December. It was supposed to be an advertised presale price of $129.99. I ended up paying $140.97.
Disappointed – This Air-fryer has a problem getting above 185 C degrees (200 C min is needed to get air fried effect, also appears to lack enough power in the fan. Therefore this is a fan-forced Oven rather than a Air-Fryer, So I am disappointed with this Product which does not airfry any where near as well as my previous and cheaper model. I have purchased from Kogan before and been very satisfied with the products and Delivery.
Takes ages to cook – Takes me 40+ minutes to roast any vegetables or cook fries. Same as an oven, only plus is that there is no preheating required. Disappointed as ideally I wanted the time savings! Show details

Perfectly Splendid – Great compact size for bench but still big enough inside for cooking 2 shelf options Easy programming Can check food during cooking quite easily Easy cleaning with all removable trays Food tastes delish Show details
Great air fryer – Love my air fryer and use it daily everything I cook in the air fryer comes out evenly cooked and very crisp. Pies and chips are cooked to perfection without constant turning but the main reason I purchased my air fryer is for the rotating basket to dry roast my home grown coffee beans and hopefully I’ll have the same great results.
