Kogan C9 Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner

Doesn't last – Initially happy with it but after just over a year (and with infrequent use) the battery failed. A new battery is $50 but might also be of dubious quality so I've thrown the vacuum cleaner out. Ideal for those smaller jobs – I bought this cleaner at the Kogan Boxing day sale 2020. It was marked down from about $300 to $130. I have a Dyson V11 for the main house but this was to replace the cleaner I had in my garage which I spend much time in and for use in my 2 cars as the V11 is not suitable due to its cumbersome size. it seemed like good value. It came well packed and has a groove and brush attachment incorporating the wall holder. The holder does not incorporate the charger system which I prefer as I can just take the cleaner and charge it anywhere in the house. You can also buy the same model with another spare battery and 3 more small paper filters but I chose not to. This cleaner has a turbo boost switch and I love the idea that when you push the 'on' button it stays on and you don't have to keep your finger on the switch whilst cleaning. Dyson vacuums sadly don't have this feature which makes it far more ergonomic for people with arthritis. I use my cleaner on tiles, carpet and out the back on the rough stone finish on our patio and it works just fine. On rougher surfaces I use the boost button. Its main function is to clean my garage floor which can build up with dust, grass and shavings. It also has 3 LED lights on the foot for dark areas. My other main use is cleaning my cars for which it is perfect due to its compact size. Without the wand this cleaner is very small and can get into tight areas as a handheld. Again I use it on 'boost' for cars. I never run out of battery power however on low setting it runs for 20 minutes and boost between 7 to 10 minutes. I have easily cleaned my 4 bedroom house with this cleaner. On the downside it is fidgety to clean but after a few goes its easy and the dust compartment is small and I clean it every third or 4th clean. The foot is very simple and takes just minutes to clean. For the price I thinks its good value and although I have a spinal disability its user friendly for me and you just can't beat the locking on/off button. Dyson take note! As for longevity and life on battery its hard to judge but it uses a Lithium Battery and they are readily available online from Kogan along with filters and other parts. Its certainly no high end Dyson V11 but it gives the smaller Dyson's a run when it comes to features and performances and it looks great as well. Its perfect if you are teaching your kids to do some cleaning due to its light weight and its good value for money. I recently ordered a new caravan and have also ordered the exact some cleaner at the low cost of $107.00 delivered for our van due to its weight and performance. If you are strapped for cash but fussy about keeping floors clean then this cleaner is well worth considering when its on sale.
