drain so unblocked drain refitted hose tested every thing working perfectly now very impressed with unit am a a/C tradesman I suggest people who have had problem with flashing FL check for blocked drain pipe instead of bagging unit

Noisy and useless – Doesn't cool the small bedroom and is extremely noisy even when on low fan speed. The bedroom is usually 28 degrees. It cools to about 26-27 degrees at best. space that’s in front of it and hasn’t got the power of the cooler full room and with the negative pressure caused by the style of there is no way that I could ever cool the room down I really need to stop making these or someone needs to sue them how this isn’t considered. sentences), but with some fiddling it was pretty straightforward to figure out. The window kit and slider is not long enough and is only suitable for sliding or sash windows, and does not fit casement windows (as we have), but we managed to improvise (it would have been helpful to know this beforehand, but was not mentioned in the product description or specifications online). It emits slightly more noise than the average pedestal fan. It runs efficiently and blows lovely, cold air, with three fan speeds and a swing vent. I’m not so keen on the vent facing toward the ceiling, and the swing function only allows it to blow slightly lower, but not straight ahead (it takes longer to cool high ceiling homes, as ours is). It would also be helpful to have longer exhaust tubing, and I think the mechanism for attaching the tubing to the round plastic connectors could be improved. The window kit slider needs to be longer to fit taller windows.

Overall, we are very happy with the unit, especially for the price, and could recommend it.

Perfect to meet my needs – Had trouble connecting to wireless but I wasn’t too concerned just needed to get closer. Did have to tape up the hosing to the aircon outlet and of course you have to empty water, but I use a watering can and put it on my plants. Show details

It’s just OK – It does the job for a 6m x 6m room. It’s quite noisey compared to other units I have owned. The WIFI smart remote is not very intuitive at all and the manual supplied is for another unit. Pretty Good – I bought my unit the Sunday before a public holiday and it still arrived on the Thursday at lunchtime which was fantastic. Oh bless The – We have this sitting up on our bench for our impractical designed rental house. We try and push its air as far as possible through our openended house with fans. an option. We have had it on all day and the tubing seemed to eventually throw off some heat but that could well also be the outside air temperature coming in somewhat. I love that it swings its vents and i can even manually direct the vents to my choosing at any moment. We havent used the heating or remote yet. Just chilling 17degrees air.

I am very grateful for this machine. And yes it is noisy-ish. (About as noisy as you hear machines.on the outside of houses sometimes) Some days i notice it bothering me slightly but who cares if its not as hoT.

Decent for my purpose, but build quality isnt the best – Bought the larger 4.1kw (14,000BTU) model off Kogan about 24 months ago. 30sq they advertise. Wasn't really able to feel much of a difference when i turned it on and off, so even though I used it for a bigger space than intended, I wouldn't trust it for a room as big as they rate it (30sqm).

Now I use it to cool my rear bedroom which is about 10-12 square meters. it does the job quickly for that size room. But it's very noisy compared to the in wall split system i have in the master bedroom. The sound kind of reminds me of an air compressor with ear muffs on. You get used to it, but its still loud. Like some others have mentioned the window seal is a little cheap. Would prefer it to be longer as there is about 5 inches at the top of the window that it doesnt cover.

Pros:

- cools well for a smaller room

- asthetically looks good (in my opinion)

- reasonably priced

Cons:

- Window seal isnt great

- loud for the bedroom but you get used to it. would be less of an issue in a smaller lounge room with tv noise cancelling it out etc, but definitely still noticeable.

- quality isnt great. Seems roughly build, and smaller components broke down within months.
