I have just been offered my THIRD tv from Kogan because the first two were seriously faulty. I have repeatedly asked for a refund just to be ignored. Can not contact them by phone only emails, which they only respond to when they feel like it. My first tv I purchased a sound bar. The sound bar did not match my replacement tv. dvantage of my situation as a disability pensioner , who can not afford to replace a so called GOOD quality tv and accessories which I thought I was doing in 2017. With my second replacement tv they said I would receive my full warranty (5 yrs) because it was brand new. And yes i am still in contact by email. In cronic pain living alone and no tv. What a piece of garbage !
the KOGAN 65inch 4k android so called smart tv is dumb, and a rather pathetic operating system with two usb ports which rarely work and when they do work any usb stick employed is useless as the system keeps rejecting and ejecting it. The system wifi date and time reverts back to set up all the time so you need to keep re entering the information and this is when it is supposed to be on automatic wifi time and date settings, pathetic !.The GOOGLE search never allows signing in so you rarely if ever get to look at the internet via google search...Read more
and do not bother trying to install chrome as the Kogan smart tv refuses google chrome. Terrible TV and remote
Purchased this TV 6 months ago and have had no end of problems. Programs run for 1 minute then TV returns to home screen, TV often just switches itself off, sound quality is really poor and the remote works about 50% time even with new batteries. I have emailed Kogan help and waiting for a reply regarding my refund request. Don't buy this TV - spend more and get a more reputable brand that is better quality.

Tv is extremely good for price but has a few minor flaws
The panel is extremely clear and vibrant. It also seems like a much higher resolution than it is. The tv is thin and has all of the ports it needs. However the operating system is good but sometimes can lag when doing things quickly, and on the tv remote I feel it needs some media controls, as some apps require this to properly function

Hard to review when you never receive product
I bought this TV on 29th of October 2020 and have been chasing delivery ever since expected delivery date 04/11/2020. Kogan customer support is non-existent, you cannot speak to anyone and they take well over 72hrs to respond to emails. Kogan have stated my TV has been despatched from their Warehouse yet will not provide me with a proof of delivery as requested and promised showing the Toll Ipec have custody of my shipment. This back forth has been going on for over a week now! Please take my advice and do not buy online from Kogan.

Fantastic experience and value for money, far better than expected
The TV is simple enough to set up even for someone who has never used a Smart TV before,

My entertainment has increased 10 fold
This unit performs as advertised, the picture is outstanding, I connected my TV via Lan but the bluetooth works well with the remotes The features provide seamless selection via the many ports at the rear for hooking up your DVD or hard drives and the remote control has a full spread of choices to facilitate easy navigation to change settings or selecting your desired choice of source to view from.

Dissapointed
We reviewed our tv today, and have been instantly dissapointed. It turned on okay and we selected the language and then it changed to a white screen and now that is all we are getting. We turn it off and back and and it shows Kogan on the screen and chimes music and flicks straight back to the white screen. We tried to update the firmware but that hasn't helped anything. Starting to think we should have just spent the extra money elsewhere. Hoping Kogan can get back to my online submission ASAP, and actually help us :(. After waiting a month for our new tv, it's upsetting to having to deal with a fault.

My recent purchase of a 70in Android tv from Kogan is wonderful. I received it in record time and the packaging was fantastic. It does everything the website says it can, and more. I can also attach my Bluetooth EarPods and they work perfectly.

replacing a plasma unit
The unit I bought 1st was a 55" curved screen model. For the price it has enough ports and the free to air input is good. The screen is not as good as the big brands however the display is more than adequate for std dvd and blueray viewing Ended up buying a 65" version as well To counter of no streaming box used an external one for 30$ on flea bay

Happy with our TV
We ordered a 65 inch Kogan TV Series 9 XU9210. We are really happy. It works with all the apps. We have been enjoying the footy, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Stan and the normal channels on it.
Easy to download apps.. Was pretty easy to set up. Picture is great. Delivery guy was nice. Took a bit of time to get delivered, but Kogan sent us a voucher to make up for it. Whenever I have spoken to Kogan they have got back to me in prompt fashion and I've been happy, very happy with those interactions. I would buy another TV from Kogan.

Wireles connectivity is good. Has enough HDMI ports for what we have wanted to do so far. Sound quality is okay. We plan on buying a soundbar. We bought our TV on one of those days were Kogan offers 5% off storewide if you buy it that day and got free shipping. picture quality not sharp and color too dull
Received the tv on 2nd Sept'20.
overall, i'm happy with the tv. but the picture quality was not up to my expectation or stated in the specification. I have tried to adjust but to no avail. please advise on the setting so that the picture quality can be sharper and the color is brighter. thank you.

Great for the price
I paid $499 for the tv. And I think it's great for the price. I've had it since June with no issues. Keep in mind it's $499. The delivery was fast as well. Ordered on a Thursday got here on a Monday. Only thing I have an issue with is the voice thing on the remote but that doesn't bother me. I will be getting another TV soon and this one will go into the bedroom.

Faulty TV
There was approximately 50% backlight bleed which made it awful to watch on.
Every 5 or so times I turned the TV on, there was absolutely no response at all, even though the standby button indicated that the TV was on. This required turning it off at the main switch, and waiting for the TV reset, which is not ideal.
Sent it back for a replacement with no issues, however that was at the beginning of August, and I won't be expected to receive a replacement under the end of September.

Poor quality and customer service
Remote failed after one month. TV lasted slightly longer before the screen died. Kogan customer service is non-existent. Impossible to speak to anyone and no response to initial email after a week. Avoid.

The wireless connectivity is bad
It is a nice tv but the wireless connectivity is bad: the same shows I see on my phone or laptop have problems on the TV. Is not worth it. Buy a decent brand like Samsung or Sony.

Very poor quality product and support
I have been a supporter of Kogan products for some time and have mostly found them to be of decent quality for the price. On 7 June 2020 I purchased a Kogan 55" Smart HDR 4K UHD LED TV Android TV™ (Series 9, XU9210). It was delivered 3 days later which impressed me. I set it up and had problems connecting the bluetooth remote - it told me it was connected successfully but the Google Assistant would not work with the microphone. I also could not watch 4K Foxtel channels as it told me my TV was not compatible. I reported the problem to Kogan Hel...Read more
p Desk and I was able to watch 4K channels with a change to options. I was reasonably happy with the response I received from the Help Desk but, because each of the many tests that they asked me to perform (which I had already tried before contacting them) it took 19 days for Kogan to agree to take my TV back and send to a repair agent. 3 days after my TV arrived at the repair agent I tried to find out how long it might be before I get any answers but the repair agent did not respond. I then contacted Kogan Help Desk and they got onto the repairer and told me that they would arrange a replacement TV as it had been assessed as faulty. On 9 July I received a new TV which I set up and everything seemed to work perfectly. 3 days later the remote for the new TV stopped working - good batteries but no response to any buttons. I again reported this to the Kogan Held Desk so I will see what happens now. I am close to asking for a refund. I will update as I get a response. Update #1 - Received an email from Help Desk asking me to do basic tests again (take batteries out, hold power button for 10 seconds) - same result as when I did it before reporting. Update #2 - Another 24 hours without use of the TV and no response to my emails so I sent another request for update to the Help Desk Update #3 - Another 24 hours and no response to my emails so I sent another email asking for my issue to be escalated to someone who could cause something to happen. I also created a second support ticket asking for action on my previous support request and got an instant reply stating that they were experiencing extremely high volumes of requests and to be patient. Update #4 - Another 24 hours and I get a message from the Help desk telling me there is a problem with my model TV and offering me a $20 credit if I am willing to keep the TV until it is resolved. No mention of the remote that is now the problem. I send another email about the dead remote. This review has been in mediation now for several days and I have not had any response from Kogan. Update #5 Another 24 hours with no response from Kogan Help Desk. I have now asked for a refund of purchase price + shipping and told them that I planned on putting in a report to NSW Fair Trading if I did not get a positive reply to my numerous emails in 2 days.Purchased in June 2020 at Kogan.com.
