Kogan soundbar 2.1 Bluetooth connection has humming through soundbar – I recently purchased and connected the soundbar and found when in Bluetooth mode a humming was present through the sound bar (not sub). The humming is not present of any other input and is present irrespective of connected bluetooth device. Optical input location is poorly designed and doesn't fit kogan purchase optical cables.  Show details

It does the Job but a bit fiddly – I have not tried other sound bars. I bought this Kogan 2.1 because Aldi had a similar product, cheaper, and they sold out in 5 hours. blue tooth connectivity..

I had no trouble pairing the sound bar Blue tooth with my Samsung TV, but find buggering about each time I turn on the T.V. and then turning on the sound bar, and then waiting till they find each other, and then using the TV remote to "connect", a pain in the tushi. So I bought an optical connection. Well you still have to use the sound bar remote, each time the T.V is switched on, to switch on the sound bar and then change the input ( The default is AUX).

First one faulty.... second even worse – Cannot believe the headache over dealing with Kogan. They have sent me 2 faulty soundbars so far. Subwoofer has no stable signal as it goes one minute then drops out. This is a nightmare to listen to, it is supposed to work over 5 metres yet it wont work over 1.5m I do not want another as I do not see why I have to wait for one that actually works… Read more

this was purchased solely under the pretence of using it wirelessly it is now essentially useless.

I've made kogan aware of this issue and am waiting for a resolution, hopefully it is more optimistic than some of you have unfortunately had.

Not recommended product – Like many other purchasers of this product i have had continual problems with the soundbar switching itself off and randomly jumping between inputs with no remote input whatsoever. Regret not returning the unit soon after purchase.

purchased because of poor sound on original tv. After 2 years decided to have another go at hooking it up, but now cannot find set up instructions on Kogan web site. more money wasted at Kogan. They're quick to praise their paperless ideals, but if you don't print out a copy of their invoice, don't bother asking them for help to find your purchasing record, as was the case when I wished to purchase a new charger for their automatic drill. Have stopped all links with Kogan, our four children have benefited from several gift purchases over some years, but they too have been inconvenienced with too many failures and item return procedures. I was, and could have been a good client. NOT ANYMORE, in future I'll be going to shops.

Soundbar Rubbish – You buy cheap you get cheap=Kogan Faulty soundbar. Was told by Kogan cut power cord for refund . Send photo. Did that. Now credit is NOT a refund but a Kogan store credit. So seems they want me to buy more cheap junk off them. LOST ME as a customer and my friends ! This is my second bad experience with Kogan! From now I am Kogan FREE! Would not turn on

I can't even use it :( – Purchsed this online as the deal was too good to pass up. Once out of the box and connected, it does not even turn on, as it is in a standby mode. Really dissapointed as I expected more from Kogan, and my girlfriend and I waited so long to use it with our new LG 50 inch :( Good quality and new slick look doesn't work

Sound bar not working probably – I unboxed and immediately try to set up together with the sub woofer and apparently the Soundbar power on button is not working. It just couldn't on and I lodge a complaint and they have yet to reply. First time buying Kogan product and I am experiencing the worst nightmare of online shopping from Kogan. I hope they will rectify the issue and reply soonest possible. Fast delivery Not working

Perfect speaker – I use this speaker in my room and it is the best quality sound I have have heard, it is so easy to setup, pretty much just plug and play, it is also easy to move if you need to. I would to have a few of these and my house so I can play music, watch movie, etc. Good sound quality, easy to use

Reasonable sound - but poor warranty backup – Just purchased a a Kogan soundbar and took it out of the box and plugged it in to see how it sounded before proper instalation with brackets etc. Must admit it sounds a lot better than the tinnie sound from the speakers in the 32' Kogan TV. the input cables snapped off in the input plug. No effort from me - just a dud plug. Kogans response was that it was not a mechanical fault of the equipment so it was my problem not theirs. I'll remember that next time I want something electrical - it won't be Kogan. simple to connect Poor warranty - Kogan don't seem to want to know about claims

It can happen if it wasn't packed properly and put stress on the tip and the next time you go to plug and unplug it breaks off..

Good Value - but not to be confused for Surround Sound – Bought this unit for $99 plus postage (on special). Very good value but if you're expecting true surround sound you may be disappointed. sound bar and sub-woofer greatly improves the stock standard sound of the TV.

I only turn the sub on when I'm watching movies etc and use the sound-bar almost any other time.

Really good value, especially if it's on sale. Good Value. Unobtrusive Design. So far - Nothing
