Kogan Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

Good for the money – I wasn't expecting much from this speaker as I got it for only $99 including postage so was pleasantly surprised when I heard the sound quality, while it doesn't put out a fantastic sound it is definitely decent. I have never paired a Bluetooth device but everything went smoothly and it was set up within 5 mins, you can also charge your device via a usb plug at the rear of the speaker.
All up if you are willing to sacrifice a bit of sound quality to save some money you will be happy, otherwise go spend $400 on a better speaker. Inexpensive and good sound quality for the price. Sound quality does deteriorate when the volume goes up (but not to much)
It is Ok but only just Ok – Received speaker tonight and opened box to only find measurements advertised are false, it s nearly 175 mm shorter than advertised 50.8 x 12 x 12 cm it is 30.3 x 11.5 cm x 13.5cm. really peed off about that. Looked up user manual and low and behold it has the correct info. The specs are misleading to as I thought it was usb charging but, that's only for e.g. mp3 player or smartphone, while it is in use. It Is 240 Volt to 18 Volt dc 2 amp power pack is required or it won,t work. I didn,t want it for home use but for caravan use, I.e. freecamping. Now have to buy 12 volt laptop adaptor to plug into cigarette lighter. another $60.00 plus. taking it over $ 200.00 mark now.
and still no battery. In hindsight and still might look at Jawbone product as it has built in battery so now you can see where the extra money comes into it to make it really portable. would write to kogan but there forums tell you not to bother as they hardly ever reply, so this review might help to keep them honest in future.
I will never buy kogan made product again but their prices prices are reasonable on known brand names. my 2 cents worth. Doug Ok for small room Have to plug into 240 volt power to work, misleading advertising
