Not near enough to Perfect – The footprint is large enough for me being 176cm and a size 10. To get these to work and register the correct setting you need to download the app and connect to the scales. It was pretty simple and connected itself without a hassle. It took my measurements and loaded it into the app. I suspect they use an algorithm to do this because the results were exactly the same as a previous set I tested. I doubted from the start that scales could actually do this and I am right they don't., they just use existing charts in a data base, because even my Metabolic age was the same. I think these sensors take your heart rate. Mine came in low at 51 .I checked this on my Omron blood pressure machine, and it was out by a country mile. So to me these are a bit of a gimmick and not accurate, taking them from the bottom of the feet standing upright is never going to give you an accurate result. The scales are weight accurate and that is what is important to me. It takes 4 triple A batteries, and they are not supplied with the unit. The shiny glass also stuck to my feet when getting off, so I guess I need to apply something to make it slick. Two-year warranty and they should last but if you are looking for a super scale save your money, not only on this unit, but all units in the marketplace.
