L'Oreal Paris Excellence Crème 4.3 Dark Golden Brown

Want to give 3.5 stars – I have black hair that is very difficult to dye. I therefore had low expectations. My main reason for choosing this dark golden brown was to colour some white hair and to get a hint of colour all over my hair.

shine. It also covers my sparse greys beautifully and gives my hair a relaxed and soft feel.

Every six weeks, I use the “root touch up” method (which takes a little practice) to conceal my regrowth and new greys and to avoid colour build up on the mid lengths and ends of my hair.

Aside from the lasting and rich colour payoff, the star of this four step process is the final deep conditioner. I really wish they would make this in a separate, larger bottle as it’s an excellent treatment that leaves hair repaired with a mirror-like shine. I usually have enough left in the bottle for one to two uses after the colouring process.

If you want a simple, salon quality colour without the expense and unflattering mirrors, this is the stuff.

I won;t be buying this product again! – I have been using Lóreal Excellence Creme for years. Have always been happy with it until recently. burnt and about 1-2cms long. It's really embarrassing. I always had shiny health hair until now. I definitely did not leave the colour in over the time stated in the instructions. I don't use the hair straightener on the top of my head and I dry my hair as normal. It was definitely the colour that did this to me. Will never buy this product again!

Exact colour as model on the box – My hair was dyed black. I desperately wanted to go lighter so I used Jobaz hair colour remover. It turned my hair orange which is what I expected. After rinsing and drying my hair I applied L'Oréal Excellence Creme in the colour 4.3 dark golden brown. It dyed my hair almost the exact same colour as the photo on the box No joke. My only complaint is that I wash my hair everyday and the colour fades a little.
