Stay clear of this device – Slow, hangs, doesnt run the apps. Too light to use as a door stop even.

Nothing more than a paperweight – Slow. Slow. Slow. Crash. Freeze. Restart. Wait. Freeze. Crash. And so it goes. I didn't return it to office works because I became unwell. Just saw it again in the drawer. I gave up on it within a few days. Truly hard to believe this product remained on the shelves for a long as it did. Show details

Would make a good rock – This thing is the singular biggest piece of crap I have ever come across, The company that released this utterly usless box needs to be taken out the back and shot. 3 hours were spent trying to set it up. there was no upper keyboard lock for passwords, there was not halo around icons to tell you where you were on the screen, this usless piece of… Read more

rubbish would not even start freeview in full screen , even after setting the correct screen format icons were off screen and unable to be seen. Avoid anything from this company, I have purchased several "Laser" products and they are all junk. Fortunately I did not purchase this item, But Friends were sucked in, It is getting returned. Laser you should be ashamed of yourself.

ABSOLUTE PIECE OF RUBBISH – Toooooo slow to use. It usually does not connect to internet (whether using wifi or ethernet cable) Takes forever to respond to remote control commands. Inbuilt mouse requires constant recalibrating. Usually have to reboot it multiple times as it freezes up. (also a very slow process) Trying to get Netflix is close to impossible. I don't know how… Read more

the manufacturer's can severely damage their reputation by selling such a piece of garbage. I would NEVER consider buying one of their products again. PLEASE do not buy one.

I want to throw the remote at it everytime – Does not load, do not buy. We brought two hoping for a quick solution rather than buying smart TVs. You will spend half your life waiting for it to load up. Biggest piece of crap on the market. Do not buy!!! Stay as far away as possible, not even exaggerating!! Show details

I'd like to say it's not the worst product I've ever bought, but that would be a lie – This piece of garbage was so slow, it could not even respond to its own remote control in anything like a remotely reasonable time (no pun intended). Keyboard strokes were either completely ignored or registered twice, which made entering passwords extra difficult. No obvious way to customise screens. In a word - avoid! Show details

Slow and no firmware updates available – It's so slow to load anything but a memory device. I'm sometimes waiting up to 30mins for the machine to load apps, particularly after start up. Can't update certain apps- the media player software or firmware is outdated and no updates have been offered or are available Show details

Barely works – Extremely disappointed with this. Very clunky, slow, and full of bugs. Apps freeze constantly and YouTube never worked. Taking this back to the store. Never buying this brand ever again Show details

A Waste Of My Money And Time Spent Waiting For This Crap Box To Load !! – I bought this media box from Harvey Norman a year ago which cost me approx $170.00 I should have run out the door empty handed and not looked back .. Slow to the point of giving up and it seems that I am not the only disgruntled fool who bought this media box .. Laser should have a recall and Harvey Norman should stop flogging such rubbish to its… Read more

customers.. Learnt lesson I can assure you .. Buy a better and much cheaper box online from overseas and enjoy decent streaming .. Shame on laser shame on harvey norman .. Crooks !! they say to be factual, objective and not to use aggressive language .. I have been factual but can't be objective when there is nothing good to say from my personal experience .. as for aggressive .. I deliberately stopped myself from using the F bomb apart from much worse .. This product should be banned from the shelves as it is not worthy of a 3rd world country let alone Australia

This device is so slow! – I wish I never bought this product. It is so slow and the needs resetting all the time. It fails to connect to my WIFI and keyboard and mouse. It is the sort of technology I would expect from the 1980's not something I would expect to see in 2020! Buy at your own risk! Show details

Not the worst $170 investment i've made but its close – I bought this product as I needed a netflix player in my bedroom and it also browses the local LAN and can stream Youtube, which was exactly what I was after. Anyway, its as slow as a wet week. The apps crash often and the firmware is super buggy. The picture quality isnt great and the GUI is not very intuitive. Its sad as it had the potential to be a good product. Show details

Not who's – This unit bought in April 2018 took a long time to load the apps such as Netflix or YouTube, then the message reads Netflix or YouTube is not responding, have to wait 10 mins to get tte apps to be loaded.I thought it was due to ADSL but the same problem with NBN.after 15 months it has packed up.What a waste of money.I thought in buying the unit in Australia I would get a good one but very disappointed. Show details

Love the concept - hate the product – When l first bought this media player from BigW l really thought it was a great idea to have a media player that could turn my older 2009 Panasonic television into a smart television with a Google web browser, photo viewer, music player, access to free to air and subscription television streaming and many other apps like You Tube, Miracast,… Read more

Twitter and Facebook, to name just a few. Yeah, great idea, but its badly executed and whatever performance expectations Laser had hoped this device could deliver to for the consumers like myself who bought it, surely they should have known that it could never have the processing power and ability to smoothly and easily stream programs to a television at the price point they are selling it at and the cost they make it for. The fact is that this device is cheap and poorly made and it is extremely frustrating to use because it simply can't do the job expected of it. You turn it on and soon as you try and operate it you find its extremely buggy and SLOW and l mean it takes at least 15 seconds for the bloody thing to respond to a button press of the remote control or a computer mouse and then around 5 minutes for it to load an app. If you do manage to get a streaming app to work it will constantly freeze up and every minute or two you will get an on screen message asking you to "close the app" or "wait" for the dammed thing to do what it's designed to do. So, if you're patient (or lucky) enough to wait till a streaming app starts playing a program it will mostly likely freeze and buffer constantly, so that whatever you are trying to watch becomes impossible to view, no matter how tolerant you are of the poor performance of this device. Also before anyone points out to me about issues with my internet connection or Wi-Fi that are affecting my ability to receive streamed television programs, l can tell you my P.C and smart phone plays the same programs and social media apps with virtually no problems what so ever. Honestly, this Laser product is not up to the task it was designed to do and it's a piece of cheap electronic junk. End of story.
