Read the manual ! – There are a couple of reviews on this device. A hint to Ross and anyone else. The device(card) has to be formatted before use, and Ross, the NAVC-L08 only supports up to a 32GB SDHC micro card. Read the manual it tells you how to do the format and a few other handy bits of info.

The worst dash cam ever – Despite it being cheap it wasn’t a great setup and personally the footage shown was awful. Every 2 hours and 50 mins I would have to change the sd card despite it being 128gb. Honestly there is better dash cams on the market

Purchased in at Bigw for $50.

Don't waste your time, I know its cheap, but it will not work – Saw the price and thought it was a bargain in BigW for $34, when I checked the specs. Went in and bought one in a hurry. Brought home, try to turn on and no power (battery is dead). Plugged in to the car, and started driving, first 5 minutes went Ok, then it started restarting it self every 10sec, on and off like crazy. I thought may be not enough charge, removed from the car, plugged into home USB charger, and left over night until battery was 100% full. Connected again on the car the next day to find the issue still exists. After trying many other tricks (including resetting few times), gave up and took back to BigW to swap to another one, just to give it a one more chance. What a mistake, the 2nd one was worst than the first one, started turning on and off by itself, then screen went half/half (I can see part of the screen doubled on top and bottom) and decided to die on me after two days (would not turn on now at all, while connected to car or home USB charger). When it did record it did a decent enough job to capture the video, but not the quality it says in the box. You can't clearly see the licence plates, unless the car parked directly in front of you within inches.

So, don't waste your money & time. I'll return the 2nd one to BigW and get a refund soon.

Purchased at Big W for $34.

Managed get my money back from Big W. The lady on the counter was bit rude saying if you tried it twice and still having issues, may be it is you, not the product. Certainly didn't have a clue how electronic works, but happy to mock the customer. I had to remind her the Australian consumer law and refund rights of the consumer to put her back in her place. Wanted to report to the management, but hey, I've wasted enough time on this already.
