Excellent Value – I looked at this car over a year ago as an option for my son/daughter in law. They haven't changed cars yet. This year i wanted to upgrade from my 2012 Pajero. I looked at the LDV, Pajero Sport (diesel - last Pajero model), Ford Everest (expensive) and the GWM Tank (Poor payload 397-440kg). I want plenty of storage room for the fishing gear, boogie boards, fridge and other gear when we do road trips. The problem was i couldn't see any LDV's on the road so i went to the showroom. The car was well equipped with big screen, electric sun roof, plenty of storage room and extremely comfortable seating. When the salesman asked if i wanted a test drive i took the opportunity because i struggled to understand how a 2Lt motor would power such a big vehicle even with twin turbos. It drove like a car - responsive, light handling and more features than i was used to. ABN holders saved $2300 and the dealer was selling 2023 stock at a discount so it was a no brainer. Fast forward 6 weeks a technology learning curve and several fishing trips with multiple passengers and it has proved to be a great buy. When i looked back at the 2012 purchase documents for the Pajero it came in at $59k. This purchase, even with the car mats, exterior/interior care package came in $12+k less. It really makes you wonder how do they do it for the price? Week 2 i had an idiot swerve at high speed from the left lane at the last minute to avoid hitting a car turning left directly in front of me - the LDV braked faster than i could as i turned right to avoid a collision - well done car!!

Purchased in for $46,305.

Great Value SUV, with BMWesque fittings without the price guilt – Bought the 2.0L Turbo Luxe (pre-executive trim) which was actually better equipped than the 2020+ executive. Panoramic sunroof Ambient Lighting Heated & ventilated seats Carplay Rear diff locker proximity sensor key active cruise control - can also be the bain of your life, just set cruise to 5kmh over signposted as this tends to stay 2-3kmh under the target speed you name it this has it.

Have done 1000k's in her now and touch wood no issues. The engine is small but does minimise excessive fuel use from atmospheric v6's. Around town i get around 11L/100k's and on highway runs 9L/100k Only use unleaded 95 though.

Do have a couple of warranty issues to sort out though in that the mirror flood lights have degraded and automatic gear shifter handle is cracking. Oh and the key is a PoS - have since replaced. I think the MMI is also due for an update along with the cruise control.

Great value for money – Been a great car with plenty of room. Couple of things could be refined by manufacturer but for the price can live with them.
