Great Ute but has anyone replace the review camera to get a better picture??????
Great Ute for the price but not happy with the review camera has anyone found a answer for this? Other than that seems to be a very solid Ute both on road and off

Would never touch a LDV trail rider t60
Purchased ldv t60 trail rider t60 new last year in November from ldv Nissan and MacArthur. First month had 3 mechanical faults engine light would come up no help from the team at ldv MacArthur. They were happy to sell me the car. Went without vehicle for almost 3 weeks as I run my own business. Had to get car towed it has been a nightmare. Dealt with principle owner and it resolved some issues but more are appearing I suggest don't purchase this type of vehicle unless your willing to deal with the problem
Purchased in November 2020 at Nissan Dealers for $40,000.00.
More trouble than other cars
5 months old. Has stalled several times after starting. Rear view camera flickers sometimes. Blind spot detection comes on when no cars are there and doesn’t work when it should. Cruise control won’t always turn off when I press the button - probably will kill me one day. Up slight hills cruise control loses speed - needs input to maintain speed. Interior buttons got stuck in causing a check engine light. Fuel range sometimes shows - - - after filling it up. Head unit keeps dimming. Radio goes full volume when it’s turned on. Had an update to ...fix that but now it no longer shows service interval and switching between inputs volume changes from zero to full. Radio offers 360 camera but it doesn’t work. Steering wheel shake from new. Reverse sensors don’t always sound when there is an obstacle. Dealer claimed wiper blades were dud after only 5 months over summer having used them once or twice. Noisy. Bumpy ride. Had to reset radio 3 times because after a while it won’t detect iPhone. Rain sensing wipers come on when no rain. Floor mat nearly worn through. Can see body panel flexing when door is closed. Climate control doesn’t always respond and has on several occasions, in manual mode, got stuck ramping the fan speed up or down without touching buttons. Very harsh downshifts at times.

BEST BANG For YOUR BUCK
Looks Great, Great to Drive, Great styling. i use it everyday its got regular servicng at dealership.heaps of features for half the price of other utes in its class.
Bought new in 2019 form Casey LVD and RAM. Andrew was helpfull and got a great deal.
Purchased in February 2019 for $34.00.
Major Quality Issues
Vehicle is now 4 months old and has the following defects
1) carpet worn right through to undefeated under pedals in 5000 klms, sports bar rusty from new, fuel distance to go gauge on dash stopped working at 14 k, auto trans thumps on motorway.
The dealer says carpet is normal wear and tear,
Ldv technical support do not know how to fix fuel gauge at the momentThey can’t find transmission Fault
in workshop and they have to send ldv more photos of sports bar.
This car appears to be a lemon
What recourse do
I have under the Australian Consumer Laws??
Is any one else experiencing such poor quality and lack of device from LDV??

T60 side badge
I have recently purchased a T60 Luxe, March 21 . Why is there no side badge been on the T60 and do they sell them for me to put on, the dealer cannot tell the reason.
Purchased in March 2021.
Not worth the headache
I got my T60 as a work vehicle, i need reliability and in fairness most of the time it is ok, i would say the problem with these is mainly there technology is very poor, things like rain sense, reversing camera, apple car play, none of there tech works consistently, have had it at the dealers twice and the general response is worked ok when we tested it, mind you the auto wipers wouldn't stop when i picked it up on a nice sunny day, spoke to LDV and was told to take it to another dealer for a second opinion, not much point when its if we don't see it we don't care, best advise buy something else
Purchased in June 2020 for $34,000.00.
Avoid LDV & Casey LDV
Multiple problems with new LDV, problems compounded as Casey LDV and its sales manager Andrew had lied to me about some of the vehicles features at point of sale. 6 weeks on and I have still not received a response that actually addresses any of my concerns. I specifically requested communications to be emailed so I can maintain records, Andrew and Casey LDV have only offered the generic feedback phone line for me to call.
If you have your heart set on one of these vehicles then at the very least avoid Casey and Andrew
Purchased in December 2020 for $36,000.00.
Solid work horse
Use this daily for work. Generally speaking for 6-8 hours a day. Serviced it on time regularly. Reliable like my wifes Toyota. Very happy with the purchase despite initial doubts, but was priced right.
Purchased in August 2018.
Love my T60 Ute Luxe
I bought this vehicle new in July 2018. At the time, I was using it to drive to and from Darwin to Katherine every weekend - a distance of approximately 700km return trip. In Katherine it did not get much use as work was less than 5 minutes away. Since March 2020, it has been used as a daily commute in Darwin. About 40 km return trip each day, plus weekend runaround.
This T60 ute has been faultless. The only problem was the need for a new battery a year ago, due mainly to the change to a relatively short daily commute.
Services are due ever...
Purchased in July 2018 for $36,860.00.
Enjoying it a lot thus far
I went from a 4L 6cyl petrol to the 2020 Luxe 2.8 4cyl diesel, which is a bit of a change. I miss the cd player in the old car, but am loving the Luxe. Tows my horse float beautifully, drives really well and is a comfortable, practical vehicle that is surprisingly easy to handle. I do a mix of highway and rural driving, with a bit of city stuff thrown in.
The head unit (radio etc) can be a bit quirky, and I have an android phone instead of an i-phone, which by all accounts work a treat in these cars, but once you get used to the radio res...etting itself to 10 every time you turn it off, it's all good. The dealer I bought it from was great and the local dealer who did my first service is not bad, so I'm happy. It's a lot of car for the money. Worth investigating.
Purchased in August 2020 at South Nowra Auto Group for $34,968.00.
Good from afar...but far from good
The car is used as a work ute.
At 300ks went into limp mode. first tow truck. Dealer said diagnostics was diff lock fault!
At 5000ks blew out seal in power steering. Second tow truck
Leaked oil from rear drive of transfer case from new, dealer fixed that at 15000ks service.
It over heats too easy and brings engine back to an idle. A good protection to have I suppose, however towing or in low range heading up a hill even on a sub 30deg day it’s guaranteed.
Now at 55000ks engine has developed a knock so once again on a tow truck. Wait and see how this pans out I guess....It’s nice to drive though...well once you up grade the suspension. Oh, and the manual gear stick is clunky and not very smooth to change through gears, that too. I bought it because I hated the fact that all the Thai built utes still have drum brake rear end...ironically the t60 doesn’t have great brakes.
Purchased in September 2018.
For almost $15000 less than the most basic Ranger... Pretty good.
Only issues I have had were with the aircon. Took to one LDV service centre who said it was normal and no real issue. Took to another service centre who diagnosed and fixed it under the 5 year warranty.
Long trips up the coast have been easy. Just set the cruise control and off we go. Power hasn't been an issue really, I'm not racing anyone but have no issues passing people with full load of camping gear in the back. The tub is bigger than say a BT50 or a Triton which mean I can fit my XL mountain bike in the back no issues, with the lid down.... Have done proper off-road once, 4wd was easy to shift and diff lock easy too. Held it's own against the other vehicles, a few Rangers and a jeep. I had the standard tyres on though. All terrains would be worth fitting. Have had the camera freeze once or twice in two years but the 360 degree camera is excellent and help getting into tight spots. Overall, can't complain when I'm paying $15 grand less than the most basic of Ford Rangers with limited to no extra features. With the Luxe you get electric everything, leather seats, rear aircon vents for the back seats and a 5 star ancap safety rating, which is better than the Amarok. For me, if you can accept the fact the car is Chinese made, you can save yourself some decent money by buying one of these.
Purchased in January 2018 for $32,000.00.
Questions & Answers
We have an LDV T60 Luxe bought from spare parts person at LDV. Running well although if not started for a few days the car won’t start even though we have had battery checked.
Does anyone know if the car can be set onto accessories to enable use when motor is not running. We have to start the car to put window up etc.
All of a sudden my cameras stoped giving me real time view and now it’s fixed on the last image it saw, what’s the go with this.
Same thing happened to mine, eventually it will come good but if your dealer doesn't see it doing that then they will just update the firmware and put down ( ok at time of testing ), oh if they update the firmware then you will probably have apple car play drop outs
Yeh literally 10 min after I posted it fixed itself so yeh all g, cheers mate
