Lectron 3500W Inverter Generator

Just love my Lectron generator – Have been using my Lectron gen now for 2 years and has been faultless apart from batttery being faulty which i put down to not being charged during storage before i bought it, new battery bought for $35, even after being stood for couple months still starts up on second start(Electric Start) has a little fuel pump prime button on side press this around 6 times to fill carb or pump up with fuel and away it goes,only need to do this when stored for at least a couple of weeks, this gen runs really well on all my caravan trips, Very Very Happy.

PS: The supplier offered to replaced battery under warranty but would have had to wait 1 week to get replaced but i was going away that day so i bore the cost which wasn't much anyway.

3.0 KW Great Experience So Far And Appears To Be Great Value For Money – I am very self sufficient as an ex mechanic and manager of extensive technical training institution so purchased a used model which appears to have had little if no use. Used it this Christmas for three days camping on light load. Fridge and lights, phones, etc. Good fuel economy, great starting (manual) and quiet. Heavy enough for an old bloke to lug around in the sand. Wheels are great on concrete or hard ground though. Can't comment on backup but suspect not a lot or "return to base" only. Therefore I can understand frustration if you are a new buyer and did not get a lot of hands on help. However, not likely to effect me.

For an occasional user I am very happy.

Absolute rubbish – I purchased the electric start generator for the free camping on our family trip around Australia. I tested the generator before heading off. No problems. Used it for 4-5 minutes to heat up some food. Went to use a second time and it wouldn't start. Tried everything to get it going. Contacted company 4 times and received no help. Things happen but to not back your product is disgraceful. I've done 11000 kms with a 35 kilogram anchor taking up space.
