Lenovo G560 - still working well in 2023 – Have had this laptop since new, and it has never missed a beat. Still use it regularly for normal use (not gaming)

Piece of rubbish! Run! – Purchased mine around 7months ago and I dont even use it that often, it started to show black screen when I started the computer couple of weeks ago and shows no boot for hard drive. I sent it back to customer repair along with my original invoice as it is still under warranty. It took them only three days to send it back and I lost everything in my laptop (I couldnt back up because I can't even start my laptop before), they fixed the problem but they DIDNT send my original invoice back to me!!!! which means I can't repair it anymore! And they didnt set up the drive for the mouse properly as my mouse can't scroll, I had to spend 2 hours to figure out what's wrong and installed a new drive. Overall, this is the worst purchase I've ever had in my life and I will run from Lenovo from now on. Plus you could never get hold of their call center, they put you on hold forever.

What a piece of junk – We had this laptop and within 1 month of coming out of warranty the power supply failed, then the week after warranty ran ou the screen had a lot of lines on it and then stopped working. We contacted Lenovo and they refused to help in any way so I will never buy a Lenovo product again. Worked well for 6 months Poor quality components and no backup from supplier

Excellent – I bought two of these beauties for my kids from MLN for $698 each. The specs of the machine are superb. They are very tough and well built and so far at least are holding up very well to the rigours my kids are imposing on them. It has Windows 7 64 bit loaded on it. The i3 chip makes the laptop work very fast. The battery life seems very good. My kids can easily work on them for over 4 hours so I estimate their battery life is close to five hours for normal word processing. The only specs these laptops do not have is a discrete graphics card otherwise they are very highly specced.

I love these laptops and would recommend them. Very affordable, nicely built, great screen, one of the very best keyboards on any laptop. Reasonable battery life, stays quiet and cool. The styling is a bit bland. The notification lights look a little crude. The hinges do not open very far and this makes it harder to use in some situations

We bought a G560 and it hasn't worked properly since day one. We sent it back to where we purchased it and under the warranty, Lenovo said they replaced the hard drive. Still have lots of problems and Lenovo don't want to know about them. I would never purchase another Lenovo again. This computer is a lemon.

A great Machine – It has solid feel to the contruction and performance is very good. It is cheap but does the job of very expensive machines. I was so impressed that I went and bought Z560...has a graphics card. Temperature is on the cool side and it has the reliability which is second to none. This machine doesnt have a graphics card but I dont miss it 'cos I dont play games. Performance, reliability, sturdy construction Sound could be better.
