Required a technician to verify if a stove in a rental property required replacing or can it be fixed cheaper, noticed this company offered a no call out fee offer, what i didn't know was how they would take advantage by charging 1 and a quarter hours to do the diagnosis, (having told him it's been looked at before and is more than likely gone) at $160 per hour to bring it neatly to $200 plus GST $20 and then 2 days to hear anything to bring the problem up to Friday afternoon and the tenant having no stove for the weekend and me scrambling to get one there and fitted ASAP. I checked with multiple sources regarding the validity of the time spent and most agreed 15 miutes at least to up to 45 minutes if all the wiring needed looking at, contacting Fair services was of no help as it take about 11 weeks to have the case heard by an adjudicator so they are of little help. Needless to say this is one firm that can not bet relied on or trusted, and i would have been happy had he just fixed the issue and sent the bill rather than have the double dipping happening. would rather have not had to take this action.

Expect to pay more and get less - rip off – I have no problem with the electrical work performed, however I would not deal with Level Electrical ever again. The information provided on the website is misleading, the invoice issued charged an amount significantly more than I was led to believe, and the sales staff promise to provide work but do not instruct their staff to perform that work. And just to rub salt in open wounds, instead of apologising for these problems the sales staff patronisingly have a go at you for "raising your voice", when they should be grateful that you haven't lodged a complaint for misleading and deceptive conduct or refused to pay the bill. The generous way of describing the problem is that the sales staff do not seem to communicate effectively with the office staff or the tradesmen, consequently the customer gets stuffed around. However, I'm beginning to suspect that all these people care about is making money, at the expense of providing good customer service. If they quote you a price, don't believe it until you've seen it in writing, checked their list of work to be done, and then double checked by ringing the office and asking whether the work you actually need done is included in the price. They will tell you your board needs replacing when nothing is wrong with it. They'll charge you $300 for five minutes work. They'll tell you that their going to fix a problem but won't do the work for the price quoted. They'll tell you they are coming on Thursday but will turn up first thing Wednesday morning. And don't believe that "no callout fee" nonsense, expect to pay at least $300. $1300 later and I've nothing to show for it except a very stressful morning. And I'm still waiting for an apology.
