Good initially but poor quality with short life span – I purchased this television. Initially it was good, but it started to get a blue tint in the middle of the screen after three years - and by four years, a blue tint covered the entire screen and it suffered from low brightness, so much so we need to replace the television as it's too hard to see. Note there were period's through Covid where the tv… Read more
was not used for months. I looked online and saw that many people had complained about backlights declining in short time where they had LG televisions. I'd expect a product of LG's brand - and the original price -- to last a lot longer than it did. I called customer service but they said there was nothing they would do. I won't but LG again after this experience.
This TV only lasts a few years not long at all – Well only after a few years the screen just went back there is still sound not impressed to say the least my lg TV prior to this one lasted much longer Show details
Best TV I Ever Had – My very first UHD 4k TV I couldn't be more happy with it! Well worth the $869. Picture is crisp clear, was very easy to connect to all my other devices. The only thing I dont like is the wheel on the remote, watching catch up tv can be hard with the wheel on the remote.... trying to pause, fast forward etc becomes hard because if you turn that… Read more · 1
wheel a tiny bit it will exit outta catch up, there is no actual play/pause buttons only the wheel. Other then that I love my TV.

Internet keeps dropping and TV hangs(LG sent Technician to fix the TV and is now working. Great customer service!) – Had or about 2.5 years. Was working fine for the first year then starts having issue with the wifi. Wifi dropping every now and then, TV hang and pointer not even moving. What kind of tv hangs while streaming Netflix. The fix was unplug the power and leave it for 5 minutes then tv will starts working again. This trick used to work but not any… Read more · 1
more. Don't think I'll be getting another LG tv in the future.
Edited: I would like to praise LG's customer service and how they handled my situation. LG sent a technician to fix my TV even though it was out of warranty. Good stuff!

Good picture – This is an amazing improvement in picture quality from our old LG ‘dumb tv’. Picture is really clear and sharp. I don’t really like the remote with the mouse wheel and pointer and the menu is not the easiest to work out. It does have an HDMI ARC socket though which means we can transmit the tv sound from free to air and Netflix through the stereo… Read more
speakers which is pretty much essential as the new smart tvs are so thin now they can’t fit the good speakers of the past in. The sound setting is a bit painful though - doesn’t automatically detect if it needs to go through the stereo or tv (if stereo is not on) and has to be manually selected every time. Maybe an LG sound bar might be more compatible and would solve this problem. The Netflix button is handy. Difficult to wall mount as all the sockets are in the back. Would have been better if some were on the bottom and sides. Impossible to connect any mobile devices because you can’t get to the sockets. otherwise pretty good and one of the cheaper tvs for this size so probably good value for money if you don’t want top of the range.
Pretty Awesome TV... after a bit of fiddling – Got this to replace my 7-year-old LG 47" FHD LED 3DTV. It had served me well, and was the reason I stuck with LG. * The price was awesome: $1509 with 5-year extended warranty, for 60" 4K 100Hz HDR SmartTV. * The unit looks pretty cool. It has a discreet bezel and the foot has a stylish faux-metal finish. Beware of installing without a helper:… Read more
it is heavier than it looks.
* This will, like it's predecessor, spend most of it's time as a HDMI display for my computer. As usual, I needed to turn off the TV's sharpness settings to get rid of the grainy, jagged edges on everything when the computer was in general use (web browsing etc). I also needed to fix the computer's Underscan and resolution scaling settings.
* There was, however, serious display lag with the computer over HDMI. There was a very noticeable delay between mouse/keyboard inputs and their appearance on screen. Luckily, LG have included a "Game" setting in the webOS Picture Modes. It seems to instantly remove the lag compared to other modes. You can still adjust other picture settings manually in the extended settings menu.
* When settings were tweaked properly, this TV has pretty awesome image quality. It's no OLED, but beats my 7yo LED 3DTV hands-down.
* Was vey easy to setup and connect to to my WiFi, and the Magic Remote works a treat!
Would recommend.
Fantastic value, LG have really pulled it off and we couldn't be happier – After a good 6 months of research we went with the 65inch LG UJ654T. I am an audiophile and engineer, and we demand a lot from a TV in terms of functionality, connectivity and ease of use, and I have to say LG have built something really good here. Picture quality is just stunning, it upscales everything we feed it with no fuss at all. Sound from… Read more · 1
the unit is very good, after a little adjustment. The magic remote is really easy to use, and the TV is just really well thought out, all over. I barely need my set top box anymore, this TV is so smart. The TV has digital audio returns (HDMI and Optical) so you can use the TV as the main hub, and still pump high quality sound into our conventional 5.1 surround system for movies and the like. The TV supplements freeview TV viewing with data from the internet connection, making for a more rich experience. Netflix is a pure delight on this thing, again all you need is the TV. I'm sure there are TVs out there with a better picture, but the LG is simply fantastic value for money, we paid the price of far cheaper brands. To top things off, today I watched an NRL game and tried my high-end noise-cancelling wireless headphones with the TV - works like a charm.

7897 hours of operation and still has a great picture for a LED – Have had it for something like 4 years, it was a replacement for the same model that lasted something like 2000 hrs before dying. Just recently the magic remote has been slow to respond or does not respond at all. Had been turning it off with the remote then restarting but on reviewing comments here decided to unplug it for 5 minutes to reset it and that seems like the trick. It came with a free XBox One which is handy for DVD's. Show details · 1
Incredible quality – My first ever UHD TV, and it has been amazing so far for watching UHD content from providers like Netflix, using my Apple TV 4k, and playing games on my PS4 Pro. The magic remote makes it really easy to navigate, even when needing to type in text (e.g. login details). Show details · 1
Great Smart TV – I was warned before I bought a Smart TV that they were difficult and clunky to operate and that I'd end up needing something like a Chromecast anyway, but that hasn't been the case at all. The operating system and apps on this TV are really easy to use and I've had no trouble with it. The picture quality is very natural looking and of a high… Read more
standard and the sound quality is great too. It connects seamlessly to my WiFi and I haven't had any trouble streaming with apps like Stan and Netflix. I also don't have any problem playing movie files from a USB but some friends have had issues with the same files on different brands of TV's. The USB and other ports are easy to access. The only criticism I have of the TV is that every now and then it will shut down and restart on its own while I'm using it, which can be a touch annoying in the middle of a movie, but it happens fairly infrequently and I would still buy this TV if I had to choose again.
Negative reviews
Intermittent loss of function – The TV was great when it was working but suddenly over the past few weeks the TV has exhibited a problem with WiFi after being switched off (standby) and on again. When switched back on, the magic remote doesn't show the cursor and apps don't load. When switched off at the power for a minute and switched on again this sometimes fixes the issue,… Read more
but only temporarily. We have contacted LG and have not received any response from them. It is very dissapointing as we thought LG is a trusted brand
Completely faulty, constantly have problems with it – TV was great for about 6 months to a year and now constantly drops out of Internet, you can watch 5 minutes of a streaming service before it stops again. Show details
Good TV on the cheaper end – not very good with dark scenes. The backlight is visible vertically which is a bit annoying. Good day to day normal use though, sport, news... Not very good for movies though. but look it is not OLED so you know what you are buying. Show details

Pretty good – I have LG tv throughout my home. So when purchasing a new tv it was a easy choice. Excellent feature and picture quality good. With the addition of smart tv and connection to the internet I thoroughly enjoy watching this model and so does the family. Easy to use tv and remote Show details
Not to bad but – Not the best tv save up in my opinion and buy a OLED please this has horrible light effects around the edges and makes it hard to watch a dark shows like ozark on Netflix for instance. A normal everyday show like the news home away etc it is crystal clear beautiful picture try something dark you'll be disappointed true black no dark grey with light grey strips and dots Show details
Awesome TV – Awesome TV, great resolution and awesome price if you can do better than $1400. I highly recommend shopping around but this is a great TV for what you get. You will need an active internet connection but so worth being connected to Youtube, Netflix etc. great picture, great colour and easy setup. Show details
Amazing – At first we couldn't turn of the voice activation was so annoying then we worked it out it's great quality saround sound turns of randomly every now and then and the screen will go black every now and then but nah not to bad it's better hanging on the wall then it used to be standing Show details
Clear, easy to use! – I bought this 55 inch smart TV and I love it. It’s so easy to use, access to Netflix and amazon prime is simple with specific buttons on the remote. I also LOVE the magic remote. It’s like using a computer mouse. Just move it and click. I wouldn’t buy any other brand! Show details
Great TV...... when I have it! – I purchased the TV in June 17. Since then the sound went, then the picture started dimming for no particular reason, Then eventually it started shutting down and restarting. Up to date it has been in the workshop or requiring repairs for the last two months. LG tells me that the screen is on backorder with no time for delivery in sight. … Read more

It makes people feel that watching TV is more comfortable! – This TV feels very good when it comes to it, both in form and resolution, including color. You can switch any channel as you like, including the use of Bluetooth is impeccable, HDMI port preparation is also very sufficient, so you don't have to worry about anything, in short, it feels very good! Great TV at a low price – Plenty of inputs for audio and video, also USB input for playback and recording. Nice fast Operating System means you don't press menu then wait for ages etc Good quality 4K Panel which is very clear HDR Picture mode makes a real difference, especially on upscaling lower quality streams Speakers are average, no bass - I use an optical out link… Read more
to a sound bar and run the TV speakers in surround and the soundbar in normal mode, sounds great now
Connects to Wifi including 5ghz Networks which you will need to stream 4K apps
Full HDMI CEC SUpport which also works with chromecast so you can tell your Google Assistant to turn on and off the TV.
All in all it is a good quality, bang for buck and easy to use and navigate TV.

I am in love with this TV! – I am so happy with this TV. We wanted the smaller version but it was discontinued. Still happy with this size. Was pleasantly surprised to find this tv came with a small stand but can also be wall mounted. The picture quality is absolutely incredible. It is beautiful to watch. We find ourselves watching documentaries more than ever. I am new… Read more
to smart tvs, so I can't compare to others.
I find it easy to navigate between the apps and I have found all the apps easy to use.
I mostly use Netflix, ABC tv, spotify, free to air, youtube.
We also use the HDMI connection to use our PC.
The sound is also surprisingly good.
It took me a short while to figure out the remote. I love the guide feature which works like a remote/mouse hybrid.
So far, I am yet to find anything that I would change about the TV.
Very happy with this tv
Incredible tv! – The audio and visual quality of this tv is outstanding. My partner and I are able to use it for many different things, such as watch Netflix, Stan and many other apps that are all built into the tv and is just one click away. Much easier than having to swap channels and do this and do that to get to the DVD section. Highly recommend! Show details
Wow – I like the picture quality. Built in speakers area amazing. Ports are quite good. The smart TV function is amazing. The remote is like mouse function on an laptop.i love this TV very much. I would highly recommend buyers to buy This TV. Just wow Wow wow wow wow. Go for it guys. Show details
High Quality TV at a Reasonable Price – I purchased this TV to replace my Hitachi 42 inch HD plasma TV. The step up in picture quality was very noticeable, with crystal clear HD and SD pictures, and very clear sound from the built in speakers. The additional features include internet connection through inbuilt Wi-Fi or wired LAN port, which has allowed a Netflix subscription, and even… Read more
better 4K movie clarity.
Being a smart TV, it has great internet connectibility, from Utube to web surfing, as well as many inbuilt apps.
The TV has 4 HDMI connections as well as one Component/Composite input, which has allowed me to easily connect to my Yamaha stereo system, separate STB with hard drive plus DVD player/recorder, while a SONOS playbar is connected to the optical sound output.
While it comes with a stand, I have had the unit mounted to the wall, and looks a very smart installation.
Love it!
Perfection – Best t.v i have ever owned. Well integrated apps. Can switch between Netflix, amazon with the push of a button and can access YouTube, twitch, red bull tv and wwe network very easily. Apps work well with tv too. In terms of performance, quality is great. I use mine for up to 8 hrs a day and have no colour fading Show details
Great tv. Good for gaming! – Great tv if you watch and or play in HD or UHD. Foxtel however, comes through shocking. I was told to get the iq3 box to resolve (this is actually a Foxtel issue, not an LG one. Despite their IQ2 boxes being HD compatible, they do not play in HD unless you buy the HD channels). If all you watch is Netflix, Stan, Amazon, gaming etc you'll be thrilled with this tv. Show details
Great TV – I purchased this TV online without seeing it. But I have had only LG TV's for the last 10 years and would never go with another brand as I have always been happy. Picture quality is crystal clear. Love the slim frame and looks great wall mounted. Sound is great considering that most of the new TVs these days require a sound bar. I have not even… Read more
bothered to hook my surround sound up yet.
Heaps of ports for everything I need and access to all of my favourite apps etc
43 is enough for me – Picture quality is good -- but I tell ya it's weird watching old movies on it. Some things are just better suited to an old CRT. The LG looks like it almost gives _too much_ detail, you know what I mean? I plugged in some extra speakers because I like a bit more bass but the in-built speakers are surprisingly good. Four HDMI ports is plenty… Read more

The LG webOS (or whatever it's called) is, I am told, one of the best, and I guess I don't have any complaints but I haven't used any other system so I don't have anything else to compare it to.
A good quality feeling remote is something many companies overlook but this one is very nice.
I have tried gaming on it but it seems laggy and doesn't look right. Maybe it's just my regular PS4 labouring under the need to output a lot of pixels but if I was looking for a tv to specifically hook up in the gaming room, I'd get a different TV.
Fantastic TV!! – Very satisfied with picture quality and sound system. I bought this on sale at Harvey Norman, never had LG TV, so new experience and now would recommend it to all my friends. Wifi connection also means I can watch movies on YouTube. Superb picture quality that is non comparable. Cost effective reliable and terrific machine! Show details
Love it!!!! – Thus tv we not only got this at a great price, we got a steal.... as this tv is the best every and I would totally recommend this product to all as it has everything you could every need just in one device.... What more can anyone ask for!!! The best by far Show details

Good TV – Bought This TV 6 months ago, I liked it but Wi-Fi is little concerning issue here; As Stan & Netflix are very hard to play on HD or Ultra HD even If you are using NBN 100 mbps. Need improvement in color n brightness. Stand is very wobbly; have to strap it otherwise 1 year baby can injured himself or damage the TV .please careful when yo uh buy checkout these things I mentioned. Show details
It's a great Smart TV – It's a good smart TV from LG. It has a great smart remote that works well. I have not been able to test it's 4K quality yet as there are no free to air transmission at this rate. Picture quality is good with sufficient ports but it can be improved with a single cable connection. Otherwise, no complaints from me. Show details
