I bought this LG as a recommendation from one of the solar panel installer. My previous machine Fisher Parkel did not make passed 4 Years. This LG was on sale, for $625 I thought it worth a try. The size fit perfectly early into the gap in my laundry. There is no agitator within top loader and so far I happy with the quality washing, compare to last machine I have yet to see any lint on my clothes. Very quiet operation, I measured the sound to be around 55-65dB on my Apple Watch. The machine is simple to operate, just turn the knob to the desire wash cycles and close the lid and start. Once the machine start the lid will automatic lock and remained lock. The AI technology apparently decide the washing motion according to the materials of your clothes. If you want more washing cycles, you can download the LG ThinQ App and after registered an account and signing in you will have 20 different washing cycles. Within the same app you can control soak time, water temperature and speed of drum cycle. Initial thought does not seem to damage the clothing, little or no lint, quiet operation and smart cycles from the app. Hence I am happy with the $625 price entry, as for how long it will last only time will tell.
