Linsar UHDNF Series

Rubbish product that doesn't last and fails prematurely without explanation. Companies like Linsar are not trustworthy to build a quality product and instead sell rubbish that fails prematurely and ends up clogging up landfills. Companies like this should be shunned and never allowed to manufacture and sell products again, this is disgusting… Read more
practice and it's not heard to make a quality product. The price for the small 12v Linsar TV which I got was not exactly cheap and I should not have had 2 fail in less than 1 year of use for each.
The speaker quality is absolutely rubbish and has no bass, meaning it's high pitched, tinny and overall tubbish, meaning you need to spend more money buying a soundbar to hear anything properly.
My first TV failed without explaination and would not show a picture, but the audio still worked. My second copy of this TV often turns on and flashes from White, Red, Green Blue on the. Whole screen, or it resort's to doing that after a while. The second option was a refurbished unit bought through ebay. I can see why it was returned as faulty and should never have been sold as refurbished by anyone.
Overall, these TV's are rubbish and should not be sold. Buy one if you wanted to waste money and add quickly to the environmental damage by supporting a company that buijt inferior products that fail prematurely within a year or two.
I purchased this tv from Good Guys Dubbo knowing it was a basic quality tv. I'm an aged pensioner and couldnt afford anything better. It was purchased to replace my smaller and older Sony TV. I've found the quality of hdmi transfer of youtube videos to this tv from my laptop results in less than acceptable quality. The picture is similar to 360p… Read more
quality and is way worse that the Sony. I tried to speak to Linsar Warranty and just kept getting requests for this and that with no real progress. In the end I told them to forget about it. My advice is take a little more time to save enough to go up market for better quality and peace of mind.
Cheap and nasty. The sound is awful, the only way to fix it is to buy a sound bar. Worst TV I have ever bought - and I have bought quite a few over the years. If I have realised I needs to spend more money just to get a decent sound I would have put the money towards a better TV I DO NOT recommend this TV Show details
Linear TV is rubbish – Tv won’t load Netflix properly. Most of the apps don’t work in our country, why sell them here if it can’t be used as a smart tv? Of course when purchasing you expect it to be relevant to your own country. I have to get a ladder & turn it off at the wall as it often just freezes & wont turn off. Piece of trash now stuck on my wall. Show details
Great value for money – Good big TV for the price, comes with all the usual ports, apps etc.the screen itself isnt the best and you can notice the quality on a white screen, but when watching movies or normal TV its good quality. The speaker is pretty poor, I have cinema surround sound so I use that. Overall I am happy and will update this review if there are any problems. Show details
Rather have no TV at all – Developed lines across screen after 3 days of use , customer service not helpful neither is the physical store , as they tell U of its online deal via email or " chat " very poor product Show details
Unwatchable picture – This TV has a very poor quality, sometimes distorted unwatchable picture
I'm overwhelmed! – This tv has everything. Perfect picture, good sound, and all the bells and whistles for under 1000 bucks! Unbelievable. One thing. It's a handful and you need 2 ppl to set it up. Show details
The backlight lets it down – I paid $900 for this Tv when It was on special. I would not pay a cent more if I am honest! As you know, These home brand TV's always sound like absolute rubbish and this is no different. I never really reduce my rating of home brand TVs for the gross sound quality they have so I won't do that to this TV. The picture quality is what lets it down… Read more
and it's a hard one to explain. The picture is smooth enough, it's quite clear too, but it just doesn't display whites properly. It's almost like it's something to do with the internal backlighting of the screen. You can see the TV wants to be crisp but something holds it back. Still, once again, for the price, this is better than some other home brand TVs out there. The remote is great, being WebOS, it has LG operating system hence, a very good remote as this is the same remote that LG TVs come with. It works well with the TV in every form. This is also one of the only home brand WebOS TV's I have seen with a branded remote and not just a generic no name of the same remote. Is kind of a nice touch.
Unboxing is a pain in the backside. Most larger TV's have clips in the bottom of the box that you unclip and the box actually left over the screen so you don't have to lift the TV. This box doesn't have that.
I will say, where this TV stood out is the warranty. This comes with 3 years whereas most come with 1 year. This shows they have faith in their TV. Unless Temp who is the importer of this brand, refuse to fix items, then I see no issues in recommending this brand to other people.
