Love my new headphones ..great sound and quality - great purchase! Show details
Don't waste your money – Bluetooth shows up but doesn't connect , "gaming " but mic won't work ... cheap product not worth spending your money on Show details
Long lasting hard wearing headphones – I've had these headphones for several years and am so impressed by how hard wearing they are and how long the battery charge lasts. I wore them all day in my cleaning job for many months and now for mowing/brushcutting the yard and they were treated pretty roughly, but held up so well. I can move more than 30 metres from the sound source and still… Read more
hear with the Bluetooth. I like the option to use either a cord or bluetooth; I broke the cord by catching it on some cleaning equipment but was able to easily replace with with a generic cord. I can also charge these with a generic charger cord with USB plug that I already had. I'm surprised at how rarely I have to charge these, when I use them daily - maybe charging once a week? (I do use the cord sometimes though). The sound is consistently good (I use these for podcasts as well as folk music and pop), the ear pieces are super comfy and I just couldn't be without these headphones.
Phenomenal – The product is long lasting comes pre charged , the sound quality is amazing better than most high end brands . Bang for your buck Show details
Head phones – I just got them, price was great. Hope the sound is good and they last a long time Show details
Great value for money. Great sound quality – Sound quality is excellent. Microphone works well and listeners don't have problems with other noises in my environment Easy to pair with my laptop and my phone. Folds nicely. Charges quickly and easily. Lasts for ages without charging. Show details
Good Noise Cancelling Headphones – I really like how the headphones are foldable and can be easily stored. However the only downside is that when I play music it doesn't seem to be very loud, even at max volume. Nonetheless, still a very good set of headphones at an affordable price. Show details
I can't believe I wasted my money on this! – I bought green headphones one or two weeks ago. Initially I really loved them since they blocked noise and as a neurodivergent person, this was perfect for me! I even decorated with stickers and I was extremely happy...then I woke up today (24/01/2024) decided to listen to music and it just wasn't working at all! I can see that this was caused by… Read more
a wire malfunction but I can't seem to fix it properly. I'll send to someone that can but there is a possibility that my desperate attempts have completely broken my headphones and I will understand that since it is my fault, but by the amount of money I've spent on these I was expecting a better quality and durability.
I bought these headphones in 19/01/2024, it hasn't even been a week!!
is decent enough – first time getting one of these headphones, and i would say it does the job sound quality is alright but not top notch, considering the price is perfect for a budget headphones easy to set up and feels a bit comfy but if used for longer time it will hurt your ears but definitely worth it Show details
Liquid Ears Wireless Over Ear Headphones Assorted Each – Bought this from Woolworths - Emerton NSW. Used for a moth, then power went off, never came back on even after charging for hours. Returned and got the refund. Don't recommend this item. Show details
I like the way the stay firm on my headz – The firm snug hold on my head is a comfort. The sound is awesome. Only time will tell if they are rugged enough for my rough handling. I do like them so far.
This is perfect for me – I usually listen to Spotify and these headphones are amazing the sound of them are perfect they are pretty good for running the wireless range is pretty decent Show details
Wireless headphones – Did not come with a USB cable I live 50 kilometres from where I bought it very disappointed

Really stoked with these – At the price I really wasn’t expecting much. Even more so when I found out they were currently on sale for less than $50, thought they’d be trash and getting dump but I use wired headphones at work for teams meetings and figured I’d get them for that. Love the fit, I’ve had no connection issues to my iPhone or my HP laptop. Lots of bass so if you… Read more
like that these are great. Great with Spotify and controls all work well. Only funny issue is if I click the pause button on headdies while watching a YouTube vid then my Spotify starts playing when I expect the video to pause.

Trash does not work on computers – It’s absolutely trash when ever I try to talk to friends on the Xbox app Fortnite there’s no sound I can talk but that’s it but they at lest sound good for price Show details

Average sound – Easy to use and connects well to blue tooth but average quality, particularly if you put the sound high. Show details
Decent for the price – While versed in music, I am not a sound engineer, however, I find that these headphones produce decent sound. For reference, I listen to a variety of music and appreciate quality production in music. These headphones deliver. Battery on these headphones lasts a while and outdo my Sony headphones. One drawback I found, when I pulled them out of the… Read more
packaging, I did initially have the thought that they are rather bulky, but it's something that can be overlooked as they fit well, block out outside sound more than expected and sit pretty firmly on the head. This makes them great for physical activities, catching public transport or being in the office and blocking out the outside sound without the need to turn up the volume so much that you ruin your hearing. A seemingly small but appreciated thing, is the auxiliary input for the off-chance off chance of needing to use the headphones with something that does not have Bluetooth.
Very comfortable, long battery life; pity it wasn’t louder! – I’ve had a few sets of headphones like these, and this LE long play had it’s good points. Very long, all day, battery life. Very soft and comfy to wear, and packs away easily. My only complaint is that they weren’t making enough noise! Flying from Tassie to Perth and back gave me plenty of hours on the plane to try the LE long plays out. Just… Read more
not loud enough to overcome the turbine drone, sorry. An amplifying circuit would fix that issue. Otherwise, for home use, perfect. 4/5 from me.
Good value for money – These headphones arrived in a plastic mailer with only a little corrugated cardboard around the cardboard box that had become slightly crushed in transit. The headphones were in a plastic cradle surround made of non recyclable plastic, it would be preferable for it to be made with recyclable plastic, cardboard or paper mache. headphones seem to be well constructed and of good quality. I charged them over night before testing them. On the first charge I was able to achieve a tad over 50 hours of use before the battery went flat. On the third charge they achieved over 66.5 hours before the battery indicator voice said the battery was low, which is well over the claimed 60 hours, they cut out at approximately 67 hours. They have a USB C charging input socket, a good thing to see as this is becoming the industry standard. They come with a USB A to USB C charging lead and a 3.5 to 3.5mm jack lead for direct connection to an audio source. The Bluetooth connection worked very well on the several Bluetooth audio sources I tried with them.
As for comfort, they grip my head a little too tightly and that causes them to be uncomfortable after wearing them for some time, at least they don't fall off easily.
Although they are not noise cancelling they have reasonable passive isolation of outside noise due to the close fitting ear pads.
I live in rural NSW with no mobile phone service, so I was not able to test the microphone and phone answering.
Concerning audio quality they are a bit heavy on the lower end of the audio spectrum with the mids and highs somewhat mushy. I may be being a bit critical as the headphones are comparatively cheap compared to the up market headphones I usually listen to. I am sure they would appeal to the younger generation who seem to like heavy bass.
If watching video such as streaming a YouTube clip, there is delay so the audio is a fraction behind the vision, it can be annoying if watching a movie although not a problem if you are just listening to music. This is my only Bluetooth device with this problem. This can be overcome to some extent by switching to gaming mode by double pressing the power button. Of course it can be fully overcome by hard-wiring the headphones to the audio source with the cable that is supplied.
Summing up, considering these Bluetooth headphones sell at just above the lower end of the market, they represent good value for money. They certainly play for a long time before they require recharging. .
Long playtime, comfortable and quick to charge – Received a pair of Liquid Ears wireless long-play headphones and immediately put them to the test. Initial blue tooth connectivity was fidly but once I read the instructions in full and gave myself a break seemed to connect easily, since initial connection no issues at all in connecting, simple and easy The actual fit can be a bit tight or I… Read more
found them to be but seem to either loosen up a bit or I am getting use to them as seem more comfortable after a couple of weeks. They fit completely over the ears... PVC over the ears tend to get hot after a while but this in normal with anything PVC. I have not tried anything active with them either Gym workouts, jogging etc
The sound is OK, I also have a pair of AKGN700 noise-cancelling headphones and the sound quality is noticeable, I am using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the sound profiles make a marked difference between music genres. Scrolling through Jazz, Rock, Classic, Pop etc whilst listening to Queen provides the listener the sound quality fo the headphones.
If you are looking for deep rich bass and tingling treble maybe look at spending more on headphones, considerably more but if you are looking for good sound quality and long play battery life then these headphones offer fantastic value!
Long play is amazing, up to 60 hours but have never used them that long without charging as easy to plug in the USB C cable and top up reading for longer use. So far the charging has been easy from any USB socket plus the battery life is awesome
Price seems to offer fantastic value given the long play available with good all round sound quality.
Comfort and clarity at an affordable price – TLDR; If you don't have a set of Bluetooth headphones, go out and buy these now, they are great value for money. You won't be disapponited with the sound quality, as you have no intention of purchasing $500 headphones anyway. Full review: For the affordable price of AU59.95, you simply cannot argue the value these bring to your head. I was… Read more
offered a free set of these headphones in return for an objective review so I hope you are more informed after reading my lengthy testing.
I have paired the Liquid Ears LongPlay headphones with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone and a laptop with no issues. I didn't notice any audio delays while watching YouTube or streaming movies, which I have experienced on very cheap Bluetooth headphones in the past. The radio range for the Bluetooth in my use, exceeds what the manufacturer claims as I can leave my phone in my dining room and listen to audiobooks or music from every corner of my house with no chopping or dropouts.
I have been using these headphones as my daily driver for almost 3 weeks, enjoying my Audiobooks, Podcasts, Movies, Youtube, and my varied selection of music on Spotify from heavy metal to 1970's pop songs. I've also taken several telephone calls with the spoken prompts announcing "Incoming Call" which is a nice touch. The recipient of the calls said the call quality was OK, but sounded a little muffled almost like I was talking with my shirt covering my mouth. Not terrible, and a small price to pay to not pickup all the wind noise from where I was.
With up to 60 hours of playtime from a full charge, these headphones have more than enough for you to listen to music or books. If you cannot remember to charge your headphones as often as you mobile phone, then I'm afraid that's a YOU problem, since the LE-LP headphones will have the same connector as your phone, just plug them in to charge when you walk away from your desk!
Although the audio is a little muddy (IMO, too much bass), they sound identical to my Galaxy Buds+ in the output quality which happen to be 5 times the price! You can always tweak the output with an equalizer application through software to match your audio taste. That said, neither come close to the clarity of my Sony XM3 headphones, but I'm not here to try and shame the sound of the Liquid Ears drivers to a product marketed to a totally different audience.
Pros: * Inexpensive * Solid looking and feel construction * Great wireless connection * Included USB C and 3.5mm cables in the box * Articulated cups for easy storage * Thick foam cups for good isolation and comfort * Inbuilt microphone * Easy to memorize button locations, and a "Play/Pause" button is great. * Spoken feedback indicating "Power On", "Power Off", "Pairing", "Connected", "Maximum Volume", "Incoming Call", "Gaming Mode", "Music Mode" etc. * Fast USB C charging, with more than all day usage * Plenty of volume for my listening choices * Lightweight and comfortable for extended use * Incredible when paired with a PC and DTS Headphone:X (< $20 software) * Can connect with laptop and phone at the same time.
Cons: * Sound output is a little 'muddy' lacking midrange at times * Microphone sounds slightly muffled. * Microsoft Teams exhibits a weird problem, where if I were to talk during at any point, once I finish talking my microphone and headphones go silent. I cannot hear participants, and they can't hear me. Turning the headphones off then on again fixes this, but repeats if you talk again. Strange, not sure if MS teams problem or with the headphones. I don't have that problem with my other Bluetooth headphones on the same laptop. I just use my laptop microphone array, and the headphones to listen for now.

Surprisingly good product for its pricepoint – The first thing I’ll say is that I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality for these headphones. There was decent sound across the range, though a little bit of tinny-ness in the sub-bass. Not a big issue though. The volume at the top end is more than enough to drown out background noise, and they don’t seem to bleed noise. My family said… Read more
they couldn’t hear what I was listening to.
The Bluetooth connection process was easy, and I had no drop-outs, but the range isn’t huge, so you need to keep your device nearby.
They were quite comfortable to wear, though I would have liked the ear cups holes to be a little bit larger, as they pressed against my ears.
They are a bit on the heavy side because of the long-life battery. But they aren’t uncomfortably heavy, even for extended use.
I haven’t had to charge them at all in the first fortnight that I’ve had them, even though they’ve been used for quite a few hours (more than 20 so far), so the battery life claims seem to be holding up.
The only thing I’ll note is that they have a pretty chunky profile. If you prioritise a sleek look, with low profile ear cups, these aren’t the right headphones for you. But I doubt you’ll find slimmer ones with the same functionality at this price point.
Long play for a long time! – I reviewed the Liquid Ears long play headphones in blue. I listen to music almost every day and I'm a huge fan of Dance music, so my headsets cop a bit of a beating especially on a job site. Working out in the sun poses a problem because any sweating with the headset on is not great. I like a lot of bass, and my music loud enough so for me the… Read more
speakers could be a little louder.
The headphones are robust, and the head band is comfortable, adjusting it is easy and the headset can be folded down for storage and the well cushioned speakers are a snug fit.
As far as functionality is concerned the buttons are too close together when scrolling through my music play list. Also finding the volume key was a bit of a problem due to its placement.
Thanks to its 5.3 blue tooth technology and built-in mic the set enables outgoing and incoming calls. I found the sound quality the same as a normal phone call if not better, due to the fact that the headphones block out any background noise.
What I liked most about the headset was its fast-charging capability. Getting ten hours of playtime from a charge of only ten minutes, amazing. The set after a full charge (two hours) will give you a total of sixty hours of playtime, dance time, relax time…. anytime!
The sound quality was reasonable and there was no ‘tinny’ noise whilst playing music and great clarity when on a phone call. The set is not noise cancelling; however, the soft cups give a little relief from any background noise. Overall, the headset were; comfortable to wear, easy to charge and had good sound quality. The fast-charging feature is a definite winner, amazing!
If you want a set of reasonably priced headphones that you use every day, then this headset is for you. They are robust and comfortable to wear and gives you up to 60 hours of uninterrupted music time.
Fair value for wireless convenience but lumpy sound delivery and tight clamp – The old adage you get what you pay for largely applies here. Build quality is average with a cheap plasticky feel and sound quality is ok in isolation although the sound transition from bass all the way up to treble frequencies is lumpy with an abrupt low bass cutoff. I listened to a mix of top 40 music, vocals and movies. There’s a bit of boost… Read more
in the mid-bass which seems to tail off in the upper bass transitioning into mid-tones which at times gave music vocals a more nasally sound. It’s not as noticeable with speech. Treble has a little bit of tizz without being bright. Cabled connection does change the sound profile, filling out the upper and lower bass to give a fuller sound but seemingly pulling back the upper mid-tones so that vocals come down in tone. Overall, they are missing that fullness or richness of sound and smooth frequency delivery that better headphones can deliver. Microphone quality is good, voices coming through clearly on the other end.
As full over-ears they offer a moderate amount of passive sound isolation. The buttons are clicky and positive although again a little cheap feeling. Once paired, they connect fairly quickly, about on par with other Bluetooth headphones. There are spoken indications for power on, pairing and max volume but unfortunately no indication at all of battery level. There is a Gaming mode which improves latency over sound quality and the latency claim seems to work with speech synching much improved when watching people talking. Didn’t notice a significant drop in sound quality. Battery life seems good although I haven’t run them long enough to test the 60hr claims.
Despite thick earpads, these clamp too tightly to be comfortable unless you have a small head. The earcups swivel and fold inwards making them nice and compact but there’s no carry case or bag which is a bit of a miss. They come with a USB C charging cable and a sound cable for wired connection.
At the list price of $60 the wireless features are worthy but for sound quality these don’t punch above their weight when compared to good headphones at double the price range and aren’t a patch on good headphones above $120-$150 mark. A quick Google on prices shows them available at $50. Get them at that price or lower and they’re worth considering especially as a first pair of wireless headphones for kids.
I compared their sound quality to a range of headphones using an iphone 13 Pro as the source (prices based on list): Similar price: Koss KTXPRO1 $100-$150 range: Plantronics Backbeat 500, Marley Positive Vibration 2 BT $150-$200 range: Grado SR80i $500+ range: Sony WH-1000XM4
Great product for the price – So I cant help but compare these to my expensive noise cancelling headphones. The ear covers are super thick its comfortable on your ears and adjusting the top of the headband helps to take some of the pressure off as the ear pads are so thick they squeeze a bit if in the wrong position. These are great headphones for the price. My noise… Read more
cancelling headphones of another brand are the bomb but they are 6 times the price. The sound has enough base and is fairly rich. I just wanted the volume to go a little louder it seemed like the limit was a little low otherwise these really are good headphones if you are on a budget. The charge in 10 mins for hours feature is pretty cool as i keep forgetting to charge them although the 60 hours playtime is pretty epic. They connect easily and talk to you to let you know whats happening. The controls on the ear pad are super helpful you can play pause or volume up and down as well as pair. The pairing was quick easy and stays strong.
For the price pretty bloody good! Comfortable and decent sound! – What I like! 1) Comfortable 2) Sound good at this price point 3) Battery life is impressive at 60 hrs listening time!! 4) Easy to connect to your phone via bluetooth 5) Quick 10 minute charge gets your 10 hrs of playtime! What I don't like! 1) Look they certainly are no $500 head phones but build wise and price wise they are pretty good. 2) I… Read more
feel that they could be slightly louder at max volume. 2) Sound can be a bit tinny sounding with the midbass and the bass needing to be slightly better to get 5 stars from me.
For the price, $60 (or $35 if you shop around), they are very impressive and actually sound almost as good as some of my dearer head phones I own! Overall very happy!
Take a while to "warm-up." – I talk more about this on my blog here: https://deannaistyping.xyz/2022/11/16/listening-to-music-from-the-other-room-the-liquid-ears-long-play/ They take a while to "warm up". They're not great when it comes to unpowered usage. But after about 10 hours, they sound great. Ear cups are comfortable, there's also a music and gaming mode (for better latency). Build quality is solid. I just wish their sound sparkled more like their predecessors. Show details
Great sound for the price – sound great! look good too. seem much better than the $25 I paid!!! Show details
