the jug which is great as i found the pressure switch often got sticky liquid in it after a long day of use. Easy to clean but just annoying. I prefer no pressure switch.

The first two I got still run perfectly after 4 years of heavy use in my cafe. I've changed the blades once on the one we use the most. Our staff use and abuse these machines at least 20 times a day in summer and they have never faulted us. The best warranty is one you never need to use.

looking and comparing the specs, I couldnt justify a $600+ price tag when i can get the same features and performance for a hell of a lot less.

Really impressed with the value, quality and price ratio.

It hammers anything that will fit in the jug and has plenty of power in reserve.

Rubber handle is awesome, I've only seen it on $900 blenders.

I have even made a soup with it and it came out really smooth with no lumps.

I have been to a few retailers and checked out the other blenders that have the same specs as this and none of them come close to the price I paid.

They all feel the same. The jugs are similar and i especially love the rubber handle on the Logik.

The other brands that have a rubber handle are over $400.

The blender is a little loud but i wasnt expecting it to be quiet.

I opted for the 5 year extended warranty and the blender still comes out at a fraction of the price of other blenders with the same warranty.

So a blender with amazing performance and a 6 year warranty for under $300

Unbeatable really.

Overall really happy with my blender and i have already recommended it to my friends, some who have got one too and they love it just as much as I do.

Great blender – Love this blender. I went through 3 blenders in less than a year before o got this one. This blender can keep up with my needs of blending large amounts of smoothies every 1-2 days. The only thing I don’t like about it is the lid. It’s hard to get on/off and it sometimes pops up when on so you always have to stand by with your hand on it. Used daily, always perfect – Im very happy with my new blender. I use almost all days of the week for baby food. The rubber handle is very helpful for my small hands and can control the full jug easier. It make the same amount of noise as my old blender which is not that loud for big blender. frozen bananas and fruits and i never get lumps or unblended bits.

Sometimes ice get wedged in strange positions and wont drop down on top of the blades but the mixing rod it came with just pushes it down into the blades where it's smashed almost instantaneously.

I will agree it is loud but i wasn't expecting it to be quiet.

Time will only tell if the blender will last, which is why I opted for a 5 year extended warranty at $10 per year. That still makes it a much cheaper option to blenders with 5 year+ warranty.

In reality I actually get 6 years warranty since my extended warranty starts when the standard warranty ends.

So far so good and i expect many years to come.

My expectations were quite literally blended away! This thing has power! Maybe too much?

The first thing i made with my blender was a banana and ice-cream smoothie. I freeze my bananas solid and also add ice and nuts into the mix for a cooling summer smoothie. The blender crushed the ice and nuts as though there was nothing in the jug! Didn't struggle one bit.

I noticed this has 8 blades - the extra 2 blades that face upwards have pretty much stopped me from having to push food that tends to float in the middle of my old blender. It's great

The only reason I have given you 4 stars instead of 5 is because this blender is loud. Then again once you feel and witness the power you may think its understandable.

I also like how the pulse button can be controlled by the speed dial, that way I dont need to pulse at maximum power because the blender works perfectly fine at 50% power.

Cant fault this blender.

website, the response i got was great: they assured me the smell will remain for the first few uses as the blenders powerful motor heats up for the first few times. the smell only lasted about a week anyway.

The only downside to this blender is the sound. It is a little louder than my old blender, but then again its a hell of a lot more powerful.

I purchased it on sale for only $149 and i would highly recommend anyone looking at buying a commercial grade blender to consider the Logik Octablend.

I have just ordered a stick blender from the same company and my expectations have been set high from this blender.
