good enough. After an online discussion with support they agreed to replace it. 2 days later a Boom 4 arrived!! Excellent support from a great brand. Very happy customer.

UE Boom are terrible, they go out of date, can't update firmware, batteries don't last, sound not that good, just terrible, charging problems, the worst charge connector in history. Between our family we stupidly have 3 - all terrible. Typical modern junk designed to fail.

It's certainly not the greatest speaker available, but it's definitely tough. I didn't actually buy mine, I retrieved it from an E-waste bin. It had already been used and abused. It has had further abuse from me, the most significant being, it was left out in the weather for over 3 months and it still works great. Listening to it right now. Show details

Good speaker on its own , terrible software connecting more than 1 – Bought a few of these (5), really terrible bluetooth link, not like a Sonos central link , sound stutters in and out even when booms are close together. No info online to set up a juke box style. Poor bass response – Sound quality is ok on low levels but almost no low frequency response...I would Compare it to a cheap $15 Chinese copy. better. Wouldn't recommend to anyone to listen to music with. ..I have the app that allows minor EQ changes but makes no difference....crap speaker, over priced>>very disappointed! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Useless if you own an iPhone – My iPhone successfully pairs, but does not appear in my Spotify list of devices. For me it’s an expensive paperweight. And yes, been through all the troubleshooting guides, switched on and off, unpaired and repaired etc. just doesn’t work. Show details

These are great speakers - with a few small caveats – I've had 2 x UE Megaboom for 2+ years now, and now 2 x Boom 3... they are a good speaker with function if you: - Download and use their app, occasionally let them run flat, stick to the same main speaker. Know how a lithium battery works and be good to it, and it'll be good to you. Show details

Nothing but trouble from day one – I bought this for my wife from JB HiFi after being talked out of buying another JBL unit by the young sales bloke. He said this unit was superior in every way. hooked and can't listen to the onboard wussy internal computer speaker again. The bass notes are perfectly balanced and not boomy and we often use it while streaming movies, watching on our large TV screen and listening on the Ultimate Ears Boom 3. Occasionally there was a synch problem but I just set for that now and no issue or lag at all. The great thing is that the speaker charges to capacity in a very short time (under 30 minutes from totally flat) and one charge lasts me 3 days of streaming from the computer at least 6 hours daily) - the brochure says 15 hours of play per charge. The volume is adjustable both on the speaker and on the computer. This is a perfect gadget for an apartment dweller as, even though it has really great volume and clarity, it can't be heard next door or beneath us so we aren't annoying anyone. It is also great in a park as it is portable wireless and Bluetooth®. THe specifications say it has balanced 360° sound which makes sense to me as no matter where I place it, the clarity is excellent. The deep bass is amazing for its small size which is about as tall as a stubbie but thinner. A massive plus and minus sign one-touch music control can be adjusted even in the dark. I haven't dropped it or splashed it but they say in its brochure that it is water, dust & drop proof and the material it is made of is resilient but not industrial looking. I am super happy with this speaker as it does the job of a massive portable array but for us apartment dwellers, size matters. If you had a 'tiny house' - this would be the Bluetooth Speaker I would advise. Mine is black but there are some coloured models - blue, red, purple and I think there's a white one too. If I had one criticism it is just that I occasionally miss the announcement that the batter level is low so mostly the speaker goes 100% flat before I realise it. The red light indicating that the battery is low/flat is on top of the speaker and I don't generally have that in my sights. However, that's just me! I love this speaker.

Ridiculous battery life – Says battery life 15 hours, just last maybe over 2 hours. False advertisement and rip off. Look something else definitely. Just returned it today and got jbl. Much better than it. Dint waste money on boom 3 Show details

Great sound for something so small! – It's a lil' wonder, easy to connect, portable and I've dropped it a few times and it still works like a charm. The streamline design also means that you don't accidentally turn it off. Highly recommend. Show details

Logitech, what are you thinking??? – Bought the BOOM 3 and POWER UP Charging Dock for my daughters 9th birthday. Overall, a poor purchase experience. UP Charging Dock come with an AC power adapter. Furthermore, Logitech states that the POWER UP Charging Dock cannot be used with a computer USB (computer USB too low in power output for dock) and that you should only use their UE supplied AC adapter. That's great, except as previously stated, the AC adapter is not included with either product and you cannot buy from Logitech.

Very poor form by Logitech just to save a few dollars when we have already spent $250 for a BOOM 3 and the POWER UP Charging Dock. A poor experience for your customers.... in our case, my 9 yo daughter.

$50 for the POWER UP Charging Dock but no included AC adapter or USB cable.... that is unheard of i.e. a charging dock with no way of using it. What do you expect your customers to do? How do you expect us to use the POWER UP without an AC adapter?

Logitech, think about the customer experience and stop penny pinching.

Overall, what seems to a a decent product is ruined by a poor purchasing experience for such a relatively expensive speaker and charging dock.

Absolutely useless – Got given as a gift in June 2020, using their charger and not on full volume it lasts on battery no longer than 3 hours. Contacted the company who answered my email with tips which I replied to that it still isn’t working properly and the company has not responded. My go-to portable speaker – I had a UE BOOM (lost it in hotel), which i replaced with a UE BOOM2 (also lost in hotel) which i replaced with a UE BOOM 3! Thankfully still got it... it is a great product. Loud, good sound quality, good bluetooth functionality, waterproof. Often can get good discounts if you look / be patient. Can pair them with other UE BOOMs for more volume. Great product. Show details

Super product – Very good product: The sound is so awesome, crystal clear and loud , really portable and long battery. I am super happy with the product and would definitely recommend that to everyone.

Good portable speaker – Enjoy using it. It's a little heavy but the sound quality is great. Battery life is good and lasts for the recommended battery span easily. Only negative is that it doesn't have a head phone port.

Worst speaker ever – I bought a brand new Boom 3 for my father for Christmas some time ago and it worked for around 6 months before it completely died. I took it back and got the same speaker, just a different colour. Maybe 8 months later, the new one died. I thought UE was a good brand, but apparently not. When I took it back, I got my money back and bought a JBL Flip 4 instead. Show details

Horrible Customer Service – Purchased 2 UE Boom products directly from the website. Found the same product, less expensive at a retail store & wrote to Logitech to return unopened boxes bought from website. After 78 min on the phone and 6 emails - they still refuse to return the product bought for a higher price directly from their website.
