hoped for better – all face tanners seem to be like this. its inconsistent, patchy, I'm glad I patch-tested before putting this on my face. will probably just use the body tan on my face.

Hi Chanelle, Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear you didn't love the results of the Purest Face Tanning Serum.
The main difference between the tinted colour guide of our Purest Tanning Lotion and our existing range is that our Purest Tanning Lotion has been formulated without any added dyes. These dyes are what have been used in our previous mousse and gradual tan ranges to create the deep colour guide our customers are familiar with.
Whilst the tinted colour guide is lighter in our Purest range, once developed the Lotion will be the same shades our customers know and love.
Even though the colour guide is not as dark, this doesn’t change the final results.
When applying the Lotion, be sure to apply a generous amount onto the mitt each time you apply to your body working in sections. Don’t be afraid to apply a thick coat so you can see easily see where you are spreading the clear, active ingredients.
