Will never purchase an oil heart from Aldi again – Over the time I've had 2 they have never worked properly. They either do not work at all or will hear up to a like warm temperature. Does not heat a room. The feet twisted in first year. Going to the bin. The Kmart Goldair works much better.
It’s really good – We have had our two since they first came and we put it up on a cold day after it had not been used for a year and heated up the house fast and we have had ours on for most of winter 9/10 Show details
Makes horrible noise – I got it for my room to keep me warm while sleeping. The problem is every 5 or 10 minutes it makes this horrible clicking and ticking noise that disturbs my sleep, should have spent a bit more elsewhere, not impressed Show details
Worked for about 5 months. Then died – I used this for about 4-5 months (i.e. one winter). About 3 hours or so per day during the week (Home office). Worked fine. Then put it away through teh summer months. Suddenly, it won't produce any heat. The unit powers up, and the thermostat works as before, but it does not produce heat. It is now out of the 1-year warranty. I rang the… Read more
manufacturer, Yale Prima, and they said that this unit is "not economical to repair", thus it is basically now a doorstop.
Useless – The review for 7 fin oil heater,i couldn’t be able to find at Aldi website so I write the review as per brand was same.It is totally crap, I used only 2 hours. It’s not worked and you need to keep ur hand half inch distance to make yourself hot. The price was only 35$ but totally waste. Show details
Poor – Takes a while to heat up the room and uses up quite a bit of electricity if I am to keep it on until it is sufficiently heated. Turns off automatically at times even when the timer is off. Don't know whether this is a fault or simply how the heater is in the first place. Not happy with purchase so I had to buy one from Target instead. Show details
rubbish – I bought 3 last winter all refuse to work or even light up Load of trash! I'm very angry didn't even last one damn winter
great product – Works well, have had no issues like the other reviewers. Heats the place well, no noise and love the timer function. I have had 2 for over a year and they have been fantastic. I have used 1 in the babies room and this has kept her sleeping well through the night as she wasn't getting cold. cost, reliable, value for money
Bad – You get what you pay for and if you don't mind noise keeping you awake if you're having it on at night it's ok. I wouldn't recommend this product or dealing with the company when you have problems. The wait time on the phone to speak to customer service is up there with Telstra. Heats up fairly quickly and well Very noisy. Made a constant ticking… Read more
noise and didn't maintain temperature I set it to no matter what I did. If I set it to 20 for overnight, room temperature would drop low, sometimes to 13. I called customer service who didn't bat an eyelid and said they would give me a refund. It sounds like alot of people have complained or wanted refunds. Trying to get that refund is another matter. I've been waiting months and following up but all I get is excuses.
Terrible – Australian Standards should be notified about this dangerous piece of junk. I wouldnt give one to my worst enemy. Disgraceful. It Heats up my medium size Bedroom. The ridiculous noises it makes!! After a few weeks, it started to create a strange cranking sound every 5 - 10 minutes.. it is unbearable!!! I would rather freeze than sleep with this heater on!
Bad – will be taking it back. i did buy 2 and the other seems ok so far.. will be keeping a close eye on it as with the first comment. heats well but the awful breathing noise near thermostat the horrible noise coming from the side of the unit.
