have never made jerky, or have I ever used a dehydrator. I have dehydrated watermelon & chilies & even a tin soup to make stock powder ... looking forward to experimenting with the jerky, biltong, fruit leathers & dehydrating my bountiful parsley, spinach & mint. Easy to use and even easier to clean – I found the Biltong maker to be very easy to use. So far I have made jerky, and dried mango, bananas, oranges, peaches, and tomatoes. Simple settings from low to high make it easy. I found high works the best for the fruit. Cleaning was easy as the trays just clip apart for easy washing. disappointed. The quality is great.. Its easy to use and I also found it very easy to clean. Its a great saver as it can be used for more than just making biltong, The Dehydrator is an excellent way of making fruit snacks, as a result of this I no longer have uneaten fruit rotting landing in the bin.
