I’ll be honest—I didn’t have the highest expectations for the Magimix Mini Plus. It’s compact and not the top-tier model, so I assumed it would have its limitations. But wow, was I wrong! This little powerhouse has completely exceeded my expectations in every way. First off, it’s shockingly efficient and effective. Whether I’m grating cheese,… Read more

making salad dressings, or chopping vegetables, it handles everything effortlessly. The included citrus press is a fantastic bonus—I can make freshly squeezed orange juice without needing a separate appliance.

Another unexpected perk? It’s so quiet! Just a gentle hum, which is such a welcome change from the usual loud, clunky food processors. And despite its compact size, it feels incredibly sturdy—this is what real quality feels like.

If you’re trying to move away from packaged foods, like me, this is a game changer. The Magimix Mini Plus makes meal prep quicker, easier, and more enjoyable. Highly, highly recommend!

Magic Magimix Mini Plus – After owning a Magimix Food Processor (type R1) from the late 1980s we lost the double bladed knife (our fault). As a replacement blade is no longer available (the unit is over 40 years old after all!) it was time for new one. Hence we bought a Magimix Mini Plus, which fills our requirements perfectly. The extra features/accessories, compared to the R1, are a bonus. Show details

Gutless – Not powerful enough to chop ice cubes. Also doesn't chop food consistently leaving chunky bits. Disappointing product. Can get much better for much cheaper. Show details

Not the best – I have had Magimix in the past, and bought this one as an upgrade. Very disappointed as it failed to chop as well as the previous model. Although much quieter but pretty much useless unless you want to pre chop everything???? Show details

Not worth the price tag – Thought about this purchase long and hard. Had a voucher at TVSN, so I went ahead and bought it. The brand’s reputation made me think it would be better than the cheaper brands, but I have to say I don’t believe it’s as good as the $80 one I replaced it with. Struggles to chop up biscuit crumbs for a cheesecake base, and I have to keep… Read more

repositioning it to get it to crush it all.

It just doesn’t seem up to the task for me. It takes a while to mix all ingredients and needs stirring in between; so because of this I haven’t bothered trying much else.

One thing I will say in its favour though, is that it’s quiet.

Quality machine – I brought this to supplement my huge food processor (Breville) when I only need to do small quantities but still want a quality result. Pros: - really quiet - fast for things like dough - mixes well - chops well in main bowl - dishwasher safe parts - great quality blade Cons: - Things processed in the mini bowl do not generally produce a… Read more

great result

- Not great for small amounts of herbs

Overall I am really happy with this. I do a half quantity of my cheese and chive scone dough with this and it mixes fast, the motor does not strain under the load and it produces a great result.

Blitzes onion and carrot well when I am using them in sauces or burgers and minces chicken breast evenly.
