Success in a small Makita vacuum – The 18V battery operated portable vacuum by Makita is a hand held small vacuum cleaner that has superseded the big vacuum for its light weight and strong suction = happiness of use. It has 2 attachments, a regular head , and a tight space attachment. It first showed its use when I chanced to use it in the car. I did find that it was useful to also purchase another filter that can be vacuumed clean as the small vacuum also has a small dust collection area. The battery suggested was a 3hr battery. I was warned not to increase the battery as that was associated with reports of motor seizures. The portable Makita vacuum cleaner is easy to use and does the job successfully.
